Instruction: Utilizing what you have learned in our discussion answer thoroughly, independently
and conscientiously the questions below. 5 points each.

1. What is meant by Human Behavior and how it may be further described?


 Refers to the way humans act and interact. It is based on and influenced by
several factors, such as genetic make-up, culture and individual values and
attitudes.

 The potential and expressed capacity for physical, mental, and social activity
during the phases of human life.

2. How is the development of man described? Discuss thoroughly.

 Humans, like other animal species, have a typical life course that consists of
successive phases of growth, each of which is characterized by a distinct set of
physical, physiological, and behavioral features. These phases are prenatal life,
infancy, childhood, adolescence, and adulthood (including old age). Human
development, or developmental psychology, is a field of study that attempts to
describe and explain the changes in human cognitive, emotional, and behavioral
capabilities and functioning over the entire life span, from the fetus to old age.

3. How does the nature of man affect his relations with other people?

 For me, the nature of man affect his relationship with other people by showing its
characteristics and values, including the way of thinking, feeling and acting-that
humans are said to have naturally.
4. Describe the uniqueness of Filipino behavior.

 Filipinos have a strong sense of family and community They are very gregarious
and like to talk and hang out with family and friends. They love to fool around,
gossip, make jokes and tease one another. Rumors spread quickly. Some say
Filipinos are happy-go-lucky people who are often pessimistic about today but
always optimistic that tomorrow will be better.

 Filipinos have been described as friendly, outgoing, sensitive, easily offended,


nosy, garrulous, direct, hospitable, feisty, irreverent, good natured, clever, witty,
gregarious, happy, generous, easy to laugh, gracious, easy to befriend, casual, fun
loving, sensitive and hospitable.

5. In the current era of globalization, what do you think are the traits that Filipino workers
possess which will make him or her competitive compared to other nationalities?

 We, as Filipinos, are known around the world for our unique traits that put us in a
higher regard than the average employee. We have learned these traits throughout
our childhood, embedded by our parents during our younger years, enriched via
our education, and further solidified in our years of maturity. Thus, we are one of
the most exemplary workers in the entire world. You may ask though, “What are
these traits that make us stand out from other employees? What are these traits
that give our company a competitive edge over the others?” Well, no need to look
further, as we’ve enumerated a few of them:
 We are hardworking.
 We are nurturing.
 We exhibit “heart” towards our work.
 We exhibit flexibility.
 We are perfectionists.
