NOTES

PREPARATION: Print these pages onto


card, cut them to separate and
laminate if you wish. Children simply
look at each pizza and clip a peg on
the correct answer.

The black and white page is so that


your kids can create their own pizza
fraction clip it cards by coloring their
own pizzas.

YOU’LL NEED TO EXPLAIN: Please note


that instead of writing one whole, I’ve
used two halves or four quarters. It’s
important that children understand
they are the same. Also, on one pizza I
have written 1/2 and 2/4 which are
both correct although the pizza is
divided into 4 parts. This is an
opportunity to talk about why both
fractions are the same.
