* This new fee is necessary for T.I.P. to fully deliver online/flexible learning and other online student
services through this platform. More details about the Learning Management System Fee are found
in the attached presentation of miscellaneous fees table.

2. The total miscellaneous fees for First Semester, School Year 2020-2021 FOR MODULAR DELIVERY
OF ONLINE/FLEXIBLE LEARNING COURSES for Graduate Program students are 58% lower
compared to traditional face-to-face in-classroom miscellaneous fees.

3. RULES CONCERNING FEES

All policies concerning fees, i.e., Cancellation of Enrollment/Withdrawal/Discontinuance of Studies shall

also apply to the graduate program modular delivery of courses.

4. PAYMENT PORTALS

The enrollment process is ONLINE so payment of fees is also done ONLINE. You may use the
following portals:

4.1 PayApp is an Android Mobile App that lets the user manage all Mastercard or Visa-enabled debit
or credit cards in one place. Download the app and pay just by tapping on one of your cards and
settle the assessed amount right away.

4.2 Dragonpay allows students, parents, and guardians to pay through: online bank debit (BDO, BPI,
and Metrobank), payment centers (Bayad Center, LBC, Cebuana Lhuillier and ECPay), and
GCash. Select your preferred option, and you will then be prompted for payment instructions.
Follow the instructions and finalize your payment/deposit.

5. However, if you have difficulty doing online payments, and wish to pay onsite, please set an
appointment first using the Online T.I.P. Appointment System (https://bit.ly/TIPAppointmentSystem).

 PRESENTATION OF MISCELLANEOUS FEES – GRADUATE PROGRAM
FIRST SEMESTER SY 2020-2021 – FLEXIBLE/ONLINE
FEES DETAILS
REGISTRATION A regular school fee charged by an academic institution. This covers, among
(100% charged) others, the administrative cost for processing enrollment.
Reason for charging computer fee when students are not using T.I.P. computer
units
COMPUTER
(IT INFRASTRUCTURE) This is to regularly upgrade T.I.P.’s IT infrastructure to support the growing
(100% charged) demand and use of the academic community. Since online is now the new normal,
the fee is also for the maintenance of the Academic and Registration Integrated
System (ARIS), which includes its servers, equipment etc., now top priority.
INSURANCE
This fee is for accident insurance premium for one school year to cover accident or
(ACCIDENT)
death (due to accident only) while enrolled in T.I.P.

Library fee gives you online access to E-Journal subscriptions (IEEE Digital Xplore
Library, Gale Academic OneFile Select, and Proquest Research Library) and
E-books (Gale Virtual Reference Library, IG Business Expert Publishing, Wiley
Online Library, and Digital Resources for the Consortium of Engineering Libraries-
Philippines). The links are available in the T.I.P. website tip.edu.ph/library under
E-LIBRARY online databases.

For First Semester SY 2020-2021, T.I.P. shall charge only 50% of the regular
semestral Library Fee.

Medical and Dental Fee provides students with online medical and dental
MEDICAL & DENTAL consultation. T.I.P.’s medical and dental staff are available for online consultations
(50% waived) to answer students’ personal health questions.

For First Semester SY 2020-2021, T.I.P. shall charge only 50% of the regular
semestral Medical and Dental Fee.

With the COVID-19 pandemic, the new normal for T.I.P. is to provide flexible
learning courses using online learning platforms. Thus to achieve this, T.I.P. shall
heavily utilize Canvas to deliver its brand of quality education. Canvas is one of the
world’s best learning management system. It provides intuitive online education
features such as recorded video/audio lectures, online requirement submission,

and schedule tracking for efficient digital learning. Communications wise, Canvas
SYSTEM (LMS)
LMS shall also serve as a key medium for internal communications between T.I.P.
and its community which is made up of the students, parents, faculty and
employees. Canvas LMS is also home to T.I.P.’s Online Study Group Tutorials
(OSGT). This is a unique T.I.P. online service that provides FREE tutorials to
students particularly in Math and English.

COMPREHENSIVE EXAMINATION This fee is given as honorarium to the faculty members for drafting and checking

This fee is charged only to students who are taking capstone, thesis, or
