    UNMANNED UNDERWATER VEHICLE

    There are two types of UUV

    1. Remotely operated vehicle (ROV) :- manually operated using remote control


    2. Autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV) :- performs operations on its own.

    NAVIGATION :-

    Radio waves cannot penetrate water, so GPS signal is lost inside water. So Underwater Acoustic
    Positioning System is used as GPS.

    PROPULSION :-

    Thruster unit (electric motors) are used to maintain the modularity of the vehicle.
