The advantages and disadvantages of camping

It is worth acknowledging that there a lot of ways of spending holidays. One of them is camping. It is
an amazing outdoor activity, where a person can spend time with others and enjoy a nature.
However, it has some benefits and drawbacks.

There are some advantages of camping. Firstly, a person can enjoy time with his/her friends or
family due to the fact that the majority of campers do not travel alone. Campers like to spend their
evenings together and tell scary or interesting stories while sitting next to the campfire. Secondly, it
is a great way to relax and forget all the problems. For example: for a lot of people camping is like a
meditation form, where a person can run away from all the city noises and negative emotions.
Besides, there is a possibility to try oneself in different extreme situations like trying to build a
shelter from wood or trying to catch a fish with a primitive device.

However, there are some disadvantages of camping too. First, it is really difficult to adapt to nature.
Usually, there are a lot of bugs outside or a person can experience extreme weather conditions.
Furthermore, camping can require expensive equipment. If a person decides to sleep in a spacious
tent on a comfortable mattress, cook his/her food in the professional grill it can cost a lot of money
unless a person rents all the equipment.

To sum it up, it seems clear that camping has both positive and negative sides. I think that the
advantages of it outweigh the disadvantages.
