The Game Clock: The game currently lasts 6 days. The game starts on Tuesday at 9:00 am PST and runs through Sunday 9:00 pm PST.

Game Status: We are currently in Beta. We continue to develop on our way to full release. We are working on allowing towns to trade
goods with each other, placing blockchain buildings, FarmBot BoxCoin mining, and player rewards! Right now, we are looking for people to
play and help us test the game. Please report bugs if you find them in our Discord channel.

* If you figured out you can cheat, please refrain! Give us time to finish our security system, then we will invite hacking to test it.

Getting Started
Town Star isn’t easy but, if you stay with it, you’ll be a pro in no time! Here’s a few tips to get started:

1. Choose a location. When the game first loads, you can choose a location for your town. You do this at the beginning of every
weekly game. Try to be close to the cities on the world map. You have three terrain types to choose from:
o Forest – Good for beginners and crops.
o Plains – Harder, but better for animals
o Desert – Difficult, but good for industry.
2. Your people work automatically. When the game begins, you will see a little farmer come out to water or harvest wheat. He
farms for you automatically, without direction. He’s a farmer, so he’s good with crops, a rancher helps with animals and for
industrial buildings you need a worker.
3. Use a trade depot to sell and make money. Tap the little green truck and use the sell button to open the trade UI. When you
first begin, you start with 10 wheat. Choose the wheat and hit sell! It takes gas to send a truck out, but if you are close to city it
won’t be a big deal.
4. Growing your town. If you tap an open tile in your town, the store icon will appear. Tap to open up the store and buy more
buildings! When you first begin, it’s best to stick with crops. If you are in a forest location, a lumber jack and a wood shed are
good starter buildings as well.
5. Making Gas. Every time you sell to the city, it costs gas. You start with 40 gas in your Fuel Storage. If you are close to a city, you
will have 40 trades, but eventually you will run out of gas and need to build a small industrial setup to create more. See if you can
make enough money to become self sustainable!
6. Winning Town Star. Every time you sell crafts to the city, you get points! If the craft is more difficult to make, it will be worth
more cash and points. You can see the leaderboard by tapping the icon in the upper right-hand corner of the screen. It will show
all players and their score. The player with the highest score at the end of the 6 days wins!
