Personal Statement

My name is Muhammad Amin S/o of Muhammad Anwar. I have done my High Schooling from
Govt Higher Secondary School Mohabat Abad, Mardan on 28 July 2020 obtaining 676 out of
1100 Marks and my intermediate studies from Khyber Model School Bara, Peshawar on 15 July
2008 obtaining 540 out of 900 Marks. I had to make a career choice and I chose to pursue my
education in International Business. I did it in 20121. I have done my Bachelors of Business
Administration Hons obtaining a GPA of 2.72 in 2016 and a Masters of Business Administration
obtaining 3.2 CGPA on 24 September 2018. My high Schooling and Batchelor's provided me
with the necessary knowledge to make a professional choice for my future. I was very interested
in learning about Business from day one and was very smart in my class. I loved to read about
famous Business Tycoons and was inspired by my cousin who was in this profession.

I have selected to pursue my higher education in the UK as it is the center for Excellence with
research-based teaching methods, UK Degrees are recognized worldwide and it is a Business
Hub. It is a suitable option for me keeping in mind the affordable fees and its excellent learning
environment. I have worked in FATA Secretariat Peshawar from 01 March 2017 to 01 February
2018 and I was responsible for office responsibilities. My responsibilities included Educational
Business, Cost and Report Writing, Financial Database Maintenance, and Project report Writing.
I learned to collaborate with other team members here.

I have decided to do my MSc in International Business from the University of Plymouth, United
Kingdom. It is based in Plymouth. It is at a great location, linked to smooth transportation links,
and is near to many historical structures in the city. It is known for International Students giving
them a vibrant student experience. It is ranked at 53 in the Guardian University Guide 2021.

The Programme I am going to choose at the University of Plymouth, United Kingdom is MSc in
International Business as I had an interest in Business from High School and I believe the
University is the right place for me to complete my Master. I will be able to learn about Business
as a whole and various other subsidiary fields revolving around it so it is very important for my
profession. When I looked into different Universities, I learned about your University's good
reputation in Masters in International Business and I was convinced to study here.

The UK is a dynamic and vibrant country with a great deal to offer students looking for
international education. The UK education system offers innovative and modern facilities that
ensure the student's time is considered valuable and positive. It does promote modern, inspired,
and autonomous thinking which is quite significant and distinctive. UK Universities offer a wide
range of courses with specializations so that students can easily select courses that are right for
their career path. Furthermore, UK institutions offer a range of diverse facilities like health and
counseling, student accommodation, career services, clubs and societies, prayers and worship
rooms, banking and shopping, sports and fitness centers. Along with the high quality of
education, students can also enjoy high standards of living while studying in the UK. Moreover,
by studying in the UK I can further improve my language skills and enjoy cultural diversity. A
similar course is also offered in Pakistan by some universities but they have just started this
course. Due to a lack of updated research work, Pakistani universities are far behind using
modern techniques followed by UK Universities. The teaching methodology used in the UK is
focusing more on practical-based work rather than theoretical concepts. UK Universities are
investing highly in research and development in order to meet the high standards of education
and to fulfill the requirements of employers. Studying in the UK will provide me an opportunity
to get exposure and understand modern technology and its importance in the international market
that will be helpful for my professional grooming.

The program MSc International Business with Aviation Management will give me the
opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the rapidly changing and dynamic international
environment, as well as a wide range of cross-border business activities. In this course, I will
develop the necessary skills to acquire the techniques available to international operating firms,
and develop a critical understanding of their work. This program will give me the opportunity to
learn about various themes in international business, from the perspective of reality to reality.

Masters of MSc International Business is the door to many career opportunities in a number of
fields. Technology has now become a vital and integral part of every organization. From
multinational corporations that maintain a large number of computer systems and databases to
small businesses that own just a single computer, Computing plays a massive role in it. A person
who pursues a Master's Degree in MSc International Business there is an opportunity for
advancement and entry into professional positions. Technology is the only field which has
continuously changed since its inception. Therefore the Graduates with the skills to work in this
field are continuing to grow.

Pursuing a Master’s Degree in MSc International Business will help me in understanding the
advanced knowledge of computing which will enable me for a brighter career in Pakistan. After
the completion of my studies, I will return back to my home country because there are excellent
career prospects for Master in MSc International Business graduates in different industries and
sectors of Pakistan which includes Telecommunication, Media Sector, Banking Industry, FMCG,
Software Houses, Retail Industry, Education, Health Care and many more with the companies
whether multinational or local offering handsome salary packages along with the other
incentives. Masters of MSc International Business will help me achieve the goals I have set for
myself. In this way, I can expect a long-term career.
