Re: Permit 1701 Issued Under Michigan Safe Drinking Water Act Section 17

Dear Mr. Oswald:

Pursuant to General Condition No. 1 in the above-referenced permit, I am writing to notify you that
BlueTriton Brands, Inc., formerly known as Nestlé Waters North America Inc., will not be utilizing the
water withdrawal capacity authorized by that permit. BlueTriton Brands, Inc. will amend its water
withdrawal assessment tool registration for the White Pine Springs well to reduce the registered
capacity under Part 327 of NREPA to 288 gallons per minute, a withdrawal capacity for which a permit
is not required under Section 17 of the Safe Drinking Water Act.

Should you have questions, feel free to contact me.

Sincerely,

Arlene Anderson-Vincent
