INSTRUCTIONS: Identify if the text is external or internal conflict and explain your
answer.

In this particular scene of the movie, this

is an internal conflict where your ego and id
are fighting each other. Kronk is torn between
his devil and angel sides, making it difficult for
him to fight against himself, so he is
undecided on his decision.

In this particular scene of the movie, this

is an external conflict where Captain
America and Iron Man are fighting with each
other. Iron Man fights to avenge the murder of
his parents and Captain America fights to
save the one person he has left in his world.
Therefore, it is a battle between the two
heroes.

Upon reading "The Cask of

Amontillado", I am not sure if it is an internal or
external conflict because this article has 2
conflicts where the internal struggle that
bothers Montresor in "The Cask of
Amontillado" may be defined as a conflict of
character against self, whilst the external
conflict between Montresor and Fortunato can
be described as a conflict of character against
character, where Fortunato had been causing
injuries to Montre but when Fortunato insulted
him, he devised a scheme to take payback. In
short, the protagonist Montresor is pitted
against the antagonist Fortunato in an exterior
man vs. man battle.
