DEAR PRESIDENT DUTERTE,

Good day, Mr. President, our country is still facing a pandemic and it has been over a year now. I
know that Covid-19 is not that easy to conquer and I have noticed that your efforts in fighting the
virus is not enough. Yes, you have taken actions about the situation, you have implemented health
initiatives, and bought vaccines. But it seems like you are taking the situation lightly.

Face masks and face shields are used in protecting ourselves from the virus but other people are not
following the protocol. I recommend that you will further constrict this protocol of yours.
Social distancing is another protocol of yours but upon watching the news in the television, I saw
how social distancing is forgotten. Social distancing is an another way to somehow stop the spread
of the virus. Strict implementation of this protocol is needed.

Vaccines. I don’t really agree with the vaccinations. Yes, the vaccines were clinically tested but they
were all made in span of only months, while the other diseases that are present up to this time like
the HIV/AIDS, there is still no vaccine for that, and it this disease has been found for years now. I
seriously won’t recommend the vaccines. Instead of buying those vaccines we can just buy vitamins
or something that will make us healthy, to strengthen our immune systems so that we won’t be easily
get infected of the virus.

These are the things that I think will help our country to conquer this disease. If you ever happen to
read this letter of mine, I do hope that you will take consideration of my suggestions.
