How will you integrate Technical and Livelihood in teaching Social Literacy, Financial Literacy and
Cyber/Digital Literacy?
Livelihood education has 4 component areas: Home Economics, Agri-Fishery Art, Industrial Arts,
and Information and communication technology. Home economics is a field of study that deals with the
relationship between individuals, families, communities, and the environment in which they live. It can be
integrated with social literacy since it is about information and positive human qualities that help capacity in
individuals to act decidedly and capably in a scope of complex social settings and their capacity to effectively
and purposely intercede his/her reality as a relative, laborer, resident and life long.
In this era home economics teaches important life skills such as cooking, sewing, and finances that
are integrated into Financial Literacy since it is about the basics of economics and financial management, this
way you can extend the skills into livelihood activities, entrepreneurship, and wise handling of personal
finances
Information and Communication Technology is a broader term for information technology which
alludes to all correspondence advancements including the web, remote organization, PDAs, PCs, virtual
products, middlewares, and other media application that coordinated into Cyber literacy or Digital literacy,
implies having the right stuff you have to live, learn, and work in a general public where correspondence and
