What does an Information Manager do?
Information Managers ensure that information meets required quality and specifications. They are required to
collect, manage and transfer information effectively, ensuring its value is understood, maximised and reused.
In doing so, Information Managers also play an important role in analysing and utilising information gathered
during the project lifecycle, to develop further insight and drive innovation and collaboration for better future
working.
It is suitable for a range of sectors, however there are elements of the course which have an enhanced focus on
industry standards and procedures within construction , engineering, manufacturing, energy, transportation, logistics
and power.
ASSESSMENT METHOD 1
At the end of the 24 months and once your employer is satisfied you are working at the required level, you will undertake
the 'End Point Assessment' (EPA). As part of this you will be required to complete a work-based project report, undertake
a professional discussion and deliver a presentation, to an external assessor or 'End Point Assessment Organisation'.
ASSESSMENT METHOD 2
Throughout the course programme, you will collate a portfolio of evidence that demonstrates your competency for
the role. This will be reviewed by an external assessor and will form the foundations of the professional discussion during
