Types of Self

Activity:

Types of Self Write a situation showing the characteristics of the types of self

I-self is the spontaneous part of self it is less concerned with what other think. While Me is
Me-Self vs.  the more socially aware part of self, more socially aware and conscious of symbols. No
“me” at birth, it develops through interaction and awareness of appearance and perception
I-Self
of other people.
Like for example, I self is not scared of what other people say about my true colors as
long as I trust myself that I didn’t do anything wrong. And I believe that I’m doing good for
fulfilling my happiness. But there’s a side of me that’s scared of what other people would
say about me judging my appearance as a person. And I’m conscious of myself from their
perspective.

Real Self vs. My ideal self is to be a person that can interact freely with both friends and new people, in
Ideal Self a way that I can solve their problems and bring happiness to them. But in reality the actual
me the real self of me is I am so shy to interact with other people, fear of being ignored ,
judgement and rejected.

Multiple The best example, perhaps, is the conflict between moral principle and temptation. In such
Selves vs. cases one of the two conflicting tendencies is often identified with our true Self, with the
normal flow of thought and action; and the other tendency is regarded as something
Unified
relatively foreign and intrusive.
Selves 2020 is a year of waking up to our selves. “We, the People” are unifying at a collective
consciousness level by being individuals who all want the same positive way for humanity
and planet earth. We are rejecting the negative ways of the elite controllers and their
nefarious deeds. This is an example of the beginning of unification as earth human beings.
One Self vs. As humans, we're naturally layered and multi-dimensional, with multiple selves to
Many Selves suit different situations. Our personality is often much more flexible than we think,
especially depending on the circumstances. For example, say you’re a doctor (one self)
and you identify a lot with your job. But then something unexpected happens and you lose
your job. It often helps to remind ourselves that we play multiple identities and many
selves throughout our lives, even on a day-to-day basis.
You’re not just an doctor. You’re also a husband, a father, a son, a player, a friend, a
volunteer, and an avid wattpad book reader.

True Self vs. The true self is represented by our real feelings and desires, while the false self is a side
False Self of us that has changed its behavior, repressed feelings and pushed needs aside in order
to survive. We often change our personalities depending on our mood. For example,
when you’re with your crush or special someone. You always tend to be nice. You always
want to be good looking you fix yourself. But the truth is if you are alone or there is no
special event you do not care about yourself especially on your looks. You do not comb
your hair, you do not put make-ups, or even wear nice clothes. In conclusion, it is display
as a false self to impress others.
