I’ll pass by
Open and close the light
When there is a gathering and you need to go home, you say "i'll go ahead"
meaning "mauuna na ako”.
When our mother told us to go somewhere, we say "i'll pass by" meaning
"dadaan ako".
We are told to “open/close” the light instead of “turn on/off” the light.

When I watched Mikey Bustos’ video, I saw that filipinos can talk comfortably
even if they are the only ones who understand each other. Filipinos often use
English terms that only they know and other countries understand these
words differently.
