ANINON, MA. KEZIAH L. ANINON

AS A GRADE 11 FILIPINO LEARNER, IN

WHAT WAY CAN YOU SHOW A SENSE
OF ADAPTABILITY TO THE DIVERSE
PHILIPPINES LITERARY HISTORY?
STATE YOUR ANSWER IN A 3 -5
PARAGRAPH ESSAY

As a grade 11 Filipino learner, I can show

adaptability to the Philippines' diverse history by
utilizing my resources and researching a variety
of media that address that story. Literature
allows us to travel back in time and learn about
life on earth from those who have been before
us. I can develop a greater understanding of
culture and a greater appreciation for it by doing
so.

The literature of the Philippines is a diverse and

rich collection of works that has evolved in
alongside with the country's history. Literature
began with fables and legends created by the
ancient Filipinos long before the arrival of
Spanish influence. It is a living language that
represents the country.
Philippine literature's diversity and richness are
best appreciated in the context of the country's
pre-colonial cultural traditions, as well as the
socio-political histories of its colonial and
contemporary traditions. Our country's culture is
extremely diverse. Literature reflects our culture,
showcasing the distinct characteristics of each
one. There are hundreds of thousands of
different stories, each with its own set of
variations based on the traditions and beliefs of
the people who tell them. From short stories to
songs and poems, Philippine literature has a
diverse collection to offer.

As a learner, with access to advanced

technology, it is not difficult to find information
about different people, different times, and
different situations that the authors created and
to be able to tell the difference between them
and how unique each story is. That way, I'll have
a better understanding of Philippine history.

Even as I get older, I can still learn a lot from

our literature. I believe that I can expand my
knowledge beyond what I know today.
