ABAP Development Tools
Displaying Documentation of BAdI Definitions
You can now read documentation for BAdI defintions directly in the Enhancement Spot Editor. Select
Show Element Information from the context menu on the BAdI definition.
Defining ABAP Formatting Options
You can now apply Pretty Printer formatting to functional method calls. To enable it, right-click the
marker bar on the left side of the editor and select ABAP Formatter Properties.... In the opened settings
dialog, select the checkbox Format Functional Method Calls.
Linking Objects in ABAP Doc Export
When exporting ABAP doc comments, links to other repository objects can now be rendered as
hyperlinks in the exported html output. Links to other exported artefacts which are used by a class or an
interface (e.g., for a type of an attribute or method parameter) are also rendered as hyperlinks. As a
prerequisite, the linked objects must be exported together with the ABAP doc export. For objects not
included in the export, only the name of the object is rendered.

For more information, see Exporting ABAP Doc Comments

Sharing ADT Links for ABAP Traces

You can now use ADT links for ABAP Traces. There are two ways to do this:
In the ABAP Trace editor, choose the Share Link icon in the top right corner.
In the ABAP Traces view, right-click on a trace to open the context menu, then choose Share Link.
Displaying Descriptions of ATC Variants in Content Assist
When you want to use ABAP Test Cockpit to check a development object with a specific check variant
(Run as ABAP Test Cockpit with...), the content assist now also displays the descriptions for the
available check variants ( Ctrl + Space ). This helps you to choose the right check variant for your use
case.
Improved ATC Exemption Editor
The following improvements have been implemented into the ATC exemption editor:
You can now use the new ATC Exemptions view in ABAP Development Tools to manage ATC
exemptions. As a result, ATC exemptions are no longer displayed in the project explorer. To display the
ATC Exemptions view, choose Windows Show View Other... ATC Exemptions.
In the ATC exemption editor, you can now use the new Check Object button to run a recheck of the
corresponding object. You can use the Check Object with... button to do the recheck with a specific check
variant.
From the ATC Problems view, you can now navigate directly to the corresponding exemption by opening
the context menu for an object and choosing Go to Exemption.
Displaying Versions for Form-based Objects in History View
The History view now also supports a version list for form-based objects. In the list of previous versions,
you can now see the author name and you can jump to the transport request of a specific version.
