Welcome to Facades+ Miami. Diana Darling
The Architect’s Newspaper
We are thrilled to kick off our 2017 Facades+ Conference series, returning to Conference Director
Miami amidst the South Florida building boom. We are proud to go into this sixth
year as the premier conference on high-performance building envelopes.

Miami’s AEC industry is hot, hot, hot! And the focus is not just on residential
projects. The area is seeing an increase across many building types including William Menking
offices, public buildings, infrastructure, malls and convention centers. The The Architect’s Newspaper

New for Miami, we’ve added Lab and Dialog workshops on the second day of
the conference. (Please see the Workshop agenda on page 9.) Both days are

skills, and give you ample opportunity to network. Please be sure to engage with Perkins+Will
