1. In 10 sentences, discuss the relevance of referential reflection. In your own

words, discuss 5 advantages and 5 disadvantages.

ADVANTAGES
(1) Referential reflection, of course, has a valuable contribution to one’s life,
where he or she forms and creates inspiration from a particular concept or a
media program.
(2) Every individual that has the likeness or perceives that he/she is somehow
related to the media program’s concept, will have the willingness to express
his or her admiration thoughtfully.
(3) Their thought of expressing their admiration will improve their abilities and
artistic skills, such as painting, drawing, conveying their emotions through
playing instruments, cosplaying, etc.
(4) Moreover, the creativeness that every individual has possesses from the
referential reflection will live up as an essential part for their positiveness in
life.
(5) And most importantly, the art, which is the fruit of appreciation and
admiration from the individuals, will also be the inspiration of others.

DISADVANTAGES
(6) However, everyone has different views in life, which can affect the use of
referential reflection.
(7) To give an example, if an individual’s mental state is somehow far different
from normal, who has the likes of violence or cruelty, might affect the way
how he/she expresses or portrays, or even worse, behave (imitation) exactly
the way how his/her inspiration acts.
(8) Another thing, unhealthy obsession of fictional characters will also be a
leading cause to depression and hallucination.
(9) In addition to that, in the state of being obsessive to what he/she believes
on, might actually affect his/her way of thinking that can lead to toxicity to
others.
(10) Besides, not everyone can relate to any kind or form of referential
reflection.
2. In 10 sentences, based on the standards of discussion, choose between Japan
and the United States, and decide which one has better legacy to us, Filipinos.
After choosing one, justify your points through the advantages explained in your
statements.

United States of America has a better legacy to Philippines for the following
reasons:
(1) They kindle the ambitious hearts of the Filipinos, where they enlighten their
souls to be motivated to be able to satisfy their aspirations.
(2) They have brought them spirit of freedom, ambition, bravery, luck, and so
many more.
(3) During the American colonization, they have given the Filipinos the greatest
contribution- system of education, which gives opportunities to the lives of
the Filipinos.
(4) Modern jeepneys are also originated from the American colonial period to the
fact that those are once US military jeepneys. Modern jeepneys, which is the
fusion of American technology and Filipino ingenuity, is not only a vehicle for
transportation but also a form of modern applied arts.
(5) Aside from that, they also brought art nouveau, which is similar to Spanish
art but new, that it was more like improvised and decorated like a cake.
(6) They also brought other arts like Neo-Romanesque, Neoclassic, and Neo-
Baroque which also defines new.
(7) In connection with fine arts, they contributed ideas of portraits and
landscapes which mostly illustrates freedom and bravery that define the
United States.
(8) Another contribution in terms of culinary arts, they have contributed fast
foods which is very common and popular nowadays.
(9) Furthermore, the revived, new, and modernized fashion that Filipinos tend to
wear is originally an American influence, as well as the concept of American
beauty.
(10)Another thing that Americans have contributed is the use of posters, that are
very practical especially for posting announcements, or promoting the
country.
