Most sporting teams in a community lose during major competitions

THE CALA

This CALA consist of 3 parts

Part A

Formulate a training exercise program where an athlete reduces his training routine on consecutive training
session by a factor of 0.50.

Part B

Count the number of exercises, record the duration and calculate the mean time per exercise for each training
session.

Part C

Calculate the number of exercises performed and comment on the relationship between the number of exercises
performed and the mean time per exercise for all the training sessions.

CALA TIPS

 All times taken should be in minutes and rounded off to the nearest whole number

 Initial exercises should be more than 25

The CALA will be marked out of 25

Marks will be awarded for:

 Formulating a training exercise program

 Defining the variable

 Counting the number of exercise


 Recording time

 Calculating average time per exercise

 Calculation of total number of exercises

Commenting on the relationship between the number of exercises and the mean time for all the training session

 Writing a report
