Bob,

Mike Roman inquired about this case when I met with hirn on July 3.

LGBS has written to Mike regardíng the OAG's denial of the "pay directs" wìth a "ihreat" to go to the
General if they are not satisfied.

This was the case that was not "coded" for appeal or Commonwealth Court and we referred the ca$e to
LGBS. The result was a Stipulation with the OAG.

This "slípping thru the cracks" type collection agency referral should not happen in the future. We
nto'¿ed the corporation tax case referrals and the process to EPAD and closeci the loo¡: on these issues
since this occurrence. Until this refinement, our procedures and perhaps a rea<1ing of ifre ORC contract
suggests that the agency would gei paid,

been recalled the Agency would not have been entitletl to the Fee, however, the OAG did not inform us
either that they were working the case.
