improvements as OEM and Tier-1 Supplier for major automotive
makers; serve as the Engineer-in-charge of 8 manufacturing lines,
producing high volume parts annually; closely monitor KPI’s to ensure
processes are within acceptable limits, support in troubleshooting and
correcting equipment and process issues, and manage process
development for future products. ◇ Lead team of 6 Manufacturing
Engineers and Technicians in the development of products from New
Product Process Integration (NPPI) to mass production; partner with
cross-functional teams -Production, Quality, EHS and Maintenance. ◇
Drive New Product Process Integration (NPPI) as subject matter expert
for new products, enforce Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP)
framework, perform following Off-Tool Off-Process, lead tooling
design, equipment qualification, and oversee product data management
(PDM). ◇ Develop testing protocols for new products, update related
equipment, purchase new equipment, operational processes, lead trial
runs, prepare technical reports, drive Initial Product Control (IPC), and
record lessons learned for delivery to leadership. ◇ Spearhead
investigations into process issues, non-conforming product containment,
equipment failures, and Customer Quality Concerns (CQC), perform
technical audits to identify causes and impacts to product quality, lead
risk management, perform root cause analysis, and create
comprehensive findings documentation. ◇ Oversee multiple, concurrent
product development and improvement projects, develop project plans,
schedules, and deliverables, outline process techniques, workflows,
tools, and layouts, lead Failure Analysis, and contribute to
documentation development and training. ◇ Collaborate with over 30
tool, component, and equipment vendors, review Design Specifications,
RFQ’s, and Statements of Work (SOW), finalize manufacturing and
quality requirements, craft lists of components, raw materials, and
BOMs, and provides continuous oversight to ensure adherence with
Production standards. ◇ Champion 6S methodology while
implementing workplace safety and accountability programs. ◇ Manage
annual CapEx budgets, train engineers on cost reduction best practices;
provided transparence to Business Planning, Accounting and Executive
departments, and identified multiple opportunities for cost savings. ◇
Develop and deliver training to Engineers, focus on industrial
engineering, Lean manufacturing, and project management; empower
Engineers to cross-train stakeholders, and support team in career
development. Notable Projects: ◇ Project managed changeover tools,
fixtures design and repair for over 250 manufacturing machines,
oversaw root cause analysis into frequent production issues, and
contribute to audits (e.g. IATF 16949/ISO 9001) to determine most
impactful improvements to effect operation and efficiency; changes
reduced downtime while improving production capacity. ◇ Led updates

Manufacturing Engineer

◇ Oversaw quality, capability, and capacity levels for new products of

specialty medical implants; led product containment activities and
identify disposition methods; led transition of new products to
manufacturing, spearheaded yield and capacity improvement programs,
eliminated all non-compliance by following FDA 21CFR820.75, ISO
13485 and internal quality requirements, and led team of 6 Engineers in
production activities. Notable Projects: ◇ Oversaw operations
improvements to deliver 2k+ backlog manufacturing orders, developed
and delivered trainings to Engineers on non-conforming product
disposition methods, eliminated massive back order issues, led
reworking of 1.5k non-conforming work-in-progress (WIP) orders, and
