• The Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs in collaboration with the
Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology launched the 'Main Bhi
Digital 3.0' - A special Campaign for Digital Onboarding and Training for
street vendors under PM SVANidhi scheme across 223 cities in the
country.

प्रौद्योधगकी मिंत्रालय ने दे ि के 223 ि रों में पीएम स्वननधि योिना के त त

• Participating agency: The BharatPe, Mswipe, Paytm, PhonePe, Aceware
are participating in this drive to issue UPI IDs, QR code and provide digital
training.
• Digital Payment Aggregators will handhold the street vendors to bring
about enhanced adoption of digital transactions and behaviour change.

Mantri Street Vendor's Atma Nirbhar Nidhi (PM SVANidhi), for providing
affordable loans to street vendors.

ऋण प्रदान करने के भलए प्रिान मिंत्री स्रीट वें िर की आत्म ननभार ननधि (PM
SVANidhi) लॉन्च की ै।
• Central sector scheme - केंद्रीय क्षेत्र योिना
• The scheme would benefit vendors, hawkers, thelewale and people
involved in goods and services related to textiles, apparel, artisan
products, barbers shops, laundry services etc.
• इस योिना से वें िरों, फेरीवालों, थेलेवाले और कपडा, पररिान, कारीगर उत्पादों,
नाई की दक
ु ानों, कपडे िोने की सेवाओिं आहद से सिंबिंधित वस्तुओिं और सेवाओिं से

• Loan - The vendors can avail a working capital loan of up to Rs. 10,000,
which is repayable in monthly instalments within a year. The loans would

• On timely/early repayment of the loan, an interest subsidy of 7% per
annum will be credited to the bank accounts of beneficiaries through

• The scheme incentivises digital transactions by the street vendors through
monthly cash back.

• Urban Local Bodies will play a pivotal role in the implementation of the
scheme by ensuring to target the beneficiary and reaching to them in an

• National Hindi Day: It is observed across India to honor and promote the
Hindi language among people, with special emphasis on children. This day
seeks to avoid the increasing trend of English language and neglect of
Hindi.

• Hindi, written in the Devanagari script, was adopted as the official

language of the Republic of India on 14th September 1949.
• Besides Hindi, English is the other official language (Article 343 of the
Constitution).
• Hindi is also an eighth schedule language.
• In all, there are 22 Scheduled languages of India in Constitution's 8th
schedule.
• Article 351 pertains to ‘Directive for development of the Hindi language’.

across the country who not only are associated with schools having ATL
labs but for all the non ATL schools as well.

and vaccines cool'.
• The ozone layer, a delicate shield of gas, protects the Earth from the
harmful part of the Sun's rays, thus helping to preserve life on the planet.
• Background: On 19 December 1994, the United Nations General Assembly
declared 16 September the International Day for the Protection of the
Ozone Layer, commemorating the date on which the Montreal Protocol on
Substances that Deplete the Ozone Layer was signed in 1987.

• The 1987 Montreal Protocol on Substances that Deplete the Ozone Layer
and its succeeding amendments were subsequently negotiated to control

substances (ODSs) and some hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs).
• ODSs include chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs), bromine containing halons and
methyl bromide, HCFCs, carbon tetrachloride (CCl4), and methyl
chloroform.
• The adoption of the 2016 Kigali Amendment to the Montreal Protocol will
phase down the production and consumption of some HFCs and avoid
much of the projected global increase and associated climate change.

• India has launched its first satellite and nuclear ballistic missile tracking
ship INS Dhruv in Visakhapatnam.
• About INS Dhruv:
• INS Dhruv, with its anti-ballistic missile capabilities, will act as an early
warning system for enemy missiles headed towards Indian cities and
military establishments.

Research and Development Organisation (DRDO).

such vessels.

• The Rajasthan Forestry and Bio development Project is a biodiversity
conservation project undertaken by the state forest department in eastern
districts (Alwar, Baran, Bhilwara, Bharatpur, Bundi, Dausa, Dholpur, Jaipur,
Jhalawar, Karauli, Kota, Sawaimadhopur and Tonk districts) - assistance
from the French development agency – Agence Francaise de

• The project seeks to promote eco-tourism and other sustainable income
generation activities in the target villages with the help of nearly 120 self-
help groups.
• It will be implemented with the help of the local population, which in turn
will help them increase their incomes without adversely impacting the
natural ecosystem.
• It seeks to promote afforestation outside the designated forest areas,
restore degraded forests and develop plant micro reserves.

• कौिल ननयोिन एविं उद्यभमता राज्य मिंत्री श्री अिोक चािंदना ने पविानसभा में
क ा कक राज्य सरकार द्वारा इस बिट घोषणा में बेरोिगार आिाधथायों की
ननिााररत सिंख्या को 1 लाख 60 िार से बढाकर 2 लाख ककया गया ै । साथ
ी कुछ नए ननयम भी िोडे गए ैं। उन् ोंने बताया कक नये प्राविानों के त त
बेरोिगार आिाथी को प्रभिक्षण लेकर स्वयिं को तैयार करना ोगा। प्रभिक्षण के
दौरान उसे भत्ता हदया िाएगा। यहद कफर भी व बेरोिगार र े गा तो उसे गािंव के
सामद
ु ानयक केन्द्र में , स्कूल में या अस्पताल में चार घिंटे सेवाएिं दे नी ोंगी।

• Minister of State for Skill Planning and Entrepreneurship Shri Ashok
Chandna said in the Vidhan Sabha that in this budget announcement by
the State Government, the number of unemployed candidates has been
increased from 1 lakh 60 thousand to 2 lakh. Also some new rules have
been added. He said that under the new provisions, unemployed
candidates will have to prepare themselves by taking training. He/she will
be given allowance during the training. If he/she still remains unemployed,
he will have to serve for four hours in the community center of the village,
in the school or in the hospital. The increase of Rs. 1000 per month in the
present rates of Mukhyamantri Yuva Sambal Yojana.

• The eligibility for foster parents under Vatsalya Yojana is as follows-
• Any Indian citizen who is residing in Rajasthan for the last 02 years, there
should be a permanent marital relationship of minimum 02 years between
any couple, the prospective foster parents should be income tax payers.
• In case of single individual (male or female) Minimum age should not
exceed 25 years and maximum age should not exceed 65 years,
Prospective foster parent should not have any criminal record, Single male
should not be allowed to take a girl child into foster care. will not be
eligible.

• वात्सल्य योिना के त त बाल दे खरे ख सिंस्थाओिं में र र े बच्चों को वैकजल्पक
पररवार आिाररत दे खरे ख सपु विाएिं उपलब्ि कराई िाएिंगी। बच्चे का पालन पोषण
एविं दे खभाल करने वाले माता पपता को एक ननजश्चत अवधि के भलए प्रनतमा 2
िार रूपये की राभि उपलब्ि कराई िाएगी।
• Alternative family based care facilities will be made available to the
children living in child care institutions under the Vatsalya Yojana. An
amount of Rs 2 thousand per month for a fixed period to the parent who
takes care of the child.

• युवा मामले एविं खेल पवभाग ने बताया कक मुख्यमिंत्री श्री अिोक ग लोत की वषा
2021-22 की बिट घोषणा के अनरू
ु प ग्राम स्तर पर खेल प्रनतभाओिं को आगे
लाने के भलए ग्राम पिंचायत स्तर, ब्लॉक स्तर, जिला स्तरीय व राज्य स्तरीय
रािस्थान ग्रामीण ओलजम्पक खेलों का आयोिन ोगा।
• The Rajasthan Rural Olympic Games will be organized in the month of
November 2021 by the Department of Youth Affairs and Sports in the
state to nurture rural talent and to create an environment of sports in the
villages. This will be the first time that 50 lakh players across the state
will participate in the Rural Olympic Games on a single day.
• Government Secretary, Youth Affairs and Sports, informed that according
to the budget announcement of Chief Minister Shri Ashok Gehlot for the
year 2021-22, to bring forward sports talents at village level, village
panchayat level, block level, district level and state. Level Rajasthan
Rural Olympic Games will be organized.
• उन् ोंने बताया कक ओलजम्पक खेल राज्य के सभी 11 िार 341 ग्राम पिंचायतों
में आयोजित ककए िाएिंगे जिसमें कुल 6 प्रकार के खेलों का आयोिन ोगा, इनमें
कबड्िी, िहू टिंग वॉलीबाल, टे ननसबॉल कक्रकेट, खो-खो, वॉलीबाल और ॉकी िाभमल
ैं।
• जिला स्तर पर सभी जिला कलेक्ट्टरों को भी ग्रामीण ओलजम्पक खेलों के सफल
आयोिन के भलए ग्राम पिंचायतों में खेल मैदान तैयार करने, िारीररक भिक्षकों
और खेल पविेषज्ञों की जस्थनत स्पष्ट्ट करने व खखलाडडयों का ज्यादा से ज्यादा
रजिस्रे िन करने के भलए सभमनतयािं गहठत करने के ननदे ि हदये गये ैं
• He said that the Olympic Games would be organized in all 11 thousand
341 gram panchayats of the state in which a total of 6 types of sports
would be organized, which include Kabaddi, Shooting Volleyball, Tennisball

• To promote wellness tourism and Ayurveda in Rajasthan, facilities will be
expanded at Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Rajasthan Ayurved University,
Jodhpur. The University will have an 'International Center of Excellence in
Panchakarma' and a 'Drug Testing Lab’. An announcement was made in
the state budget year 2021-22 for the establishment of these institutions
and expansion of facilities in the university. An artificial lake and
administrative building will be constructed in the wellness center. The
center will be operated on PPP mode by world class companies and
institutions specialized in the field of Panchakarma therapy. Technical
support for this center will be provided by the experts of the university.
• रािस्थान में वेलनेस टूररज्म और आयुवेद को बढावा दे ने के भलए िॉ. सवापल्ली
रािाकृष्ट्णन रािस्थान आयव
ु ेद पवश्वपवद्यालय, िोिपरु में सपु विाओिं का पवस्तार ककया
िाएगा। पवश्वपवद्यालय में 'पिंचकमा में उत्कृष्ट्टता का अिंतरााष्ट्रीय केंद्र' और 'औषधि
परीक्षण प्रयोगिाला' ोगी।
• राज्य के बिट वषा 2021-22 में इन सिंस्थानों की स्थापना और पवश्वपवद्यालय में
सुपविाओिं के पवस्तार की घोषणा की गई थी। वेलनेस सेंटर में कृबत्रम झील व प्रिासननक
भवन का ननमााण ककया िाएगा। केंद्र का सिंचालन पिंचकमा धचककत्सा के क्षेत्र में पवश्व
स्तरीय किंपननयों और सिंस्थानों द्वारा पीपीपी मोि पर ककया िाएगा। इस केंद्र के भलए
पवश्वपवद्यालय के पविेषज्ञों द्वारा तकनीकी स ायता प्रदान की िाएगी।
• On August 01, 2021, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot launched the
'Ghar-Ghar Aushadhi Yojana' and the 72nd Van Mahotsav under the 'Nirogi
Rajasthan Campaign’.
• The honorable Chief Minister launched the scheme by planting a medicinal
plant of Giloy at his residence.
• Along with this, under the 72nd Van Mahotsav, the vehicle carrying Peepal
and other plants was flagged off for planting in Bilaunchi village of Jaipur.

• Minister of State for Education, will release the Shala Sambalan App in the education
complex.
• Shala Sambalan App has been created for quick analysis of data received after school
inspection, collection of reliable data of educational processes and results and to
simplify the school support process.
• It is noteworthy that for the inspection and support of schools and in order to ensure
the quality of education, Shala Sambalan Program is already being conducted. Under
this, the school is inspected by the education officers at the state, divisional, district
and block levels and after that an observation form is entered on the Shala Darpan
portal. The inspection process will be digitized through the Shala Sambalan App and
after analyzing the information received through the App, feedback will be provided to
the concerned school.
