Reflection
 Skills and Concepts
 Speaking to people, asking questions, responding to questions gaining confidence in speaking to others
 Cutting, gluing, coloring learning fine motor skills
 Writing and spelling
 Learning how gather information for a graph and see how to fill in a graph

 Multicultural Knowledge
 A better understanding that even though someone may look different, speak differently, or like different things we can
always find a similarities.
 It is okay to be friendly and not be best friends with everyone
 A chance for students to interacted with other students who may be shy or quite

 Student Engagement
 This lesson requires students to engage with each other during the scavenger hunt
 Students have an opportunity to engage with the teacher while the teacher is asking questions
 There is also some time for the student to work individually on their people project but still speak with others around
them

 Strengths and Weaknesses

 A strength is that with and interactive lesson the students are more likely to participate especially because they would
be talking about their favorite things
 This lesson can also be a precursor to other lessons for example now that we know about other places the students are
from the class can learn about those places
 A weakness is this lesson will have to be timed carefully especially when they are working on their personal people.
