1.1 Master data
1.1.1 Define application profile

Use

Prerequisite

Procedure
1. Access the activity using one of the following navigation options:
SAP IMG Plant Maintenance and Customer Service  Work Clearance
Management  Master data  Maintain Application profile

2. On the Change View “Maintain Application profile”: Overview screen,
choose New entries.

Power Generation Plant

Use
This step is used to define WCM model for power distribution plant 3000, we will use standard
model for distribution plant.

Procedure
1. Access the activity using one of the following navigation options:

2. On the Assistant for Model selection, make the following entries :

5. A window pops up to ask you to confirm the creation, choose Yes to confirm it.

7. If any warning message pops up, just confirm by choosing .

8. Choose Exit to return to SAP Easy Access.

1.1.3 Define Additional Application for Hot


Work

Use
This step is used to define hot work application, which also needs to be considered in WCM
process in addition to lockout/tagout.

Approval (Manual Step)

Use
Before you do configuration for WCM Objects, you need to create number range for work
approval.

Procedure
1. Access the activity using one of the following navigation options:

Management  Master data  Number ranges  Maintain

2. On the Number Assignment for Work Approvals screen, choose
Intervals.
3. Choose Interval

clearance document

Procedure

Management  Master data  Number ranges  Maintain

2. On the Number Assignment for Work Clearance Documents screen, choose
Intervals.
