Activity

1. On my own understanding, the artwork conveys about the man striving hard to go
up even if the world or someone wanted him to go down. Just like in life, the
problems or obstacle that we encounter tries us to bring down, but we keep holding
on to move forward.
2. The different colors in the background represents the LGBTQA. The artwork conveys
the love of all genders.
3. The artwork conveys that the girl is already tired to wear mask or pretend to the
world. The mask means what she shows off to the world to hide what she really feels
or what she is going through.
4. The artwork simply conveys the happily graduated students. Emotionally happy that
all the hard works paid off, that they finally graduated.
5. The artwork is a timely issue. It conveys the essential worker such as nurses and
doctors that risk their lives to help cure and prevent to spread the covid as we are
facing right now.

Analysis
1. To convey message in an artwork, the author use symbolism and they will base it on
real life to easily understand the artwork. Also, they use art to communicate what
they feel or their experience.
2. The artwork of Sara Riches which is “The Mask She Hides”. I can really relate to it,
well, we all do. To go through life or to face the world you must stay strong and
positive even if we are dying inside or going through such problems. We wear mask
to hide what we truly feel, not to pretend but to show the world that we can, I can.
3. They carefully select subject for the artwork to not offend or to show what is reality
to the people who will see their artwork.
4. Every subject of an art or no matter what is the subject of an art it is the best in their
own way.
5. If I were to create subject of an art, I would choose the subject about how important
being healthy is, and the worldly things doesn’t matter. This pandemic taught me to
take care of ourselves to give some time and the things that we bought such as
shoes, shirts, bags, and many more are doesn’t matter. We should invest on our
health.
