For you what is Philippine History?

- As a tourism student, learning Philippine history is
important because it will benefit not only our country but
also ourselves. Philippine history indicates the things and
learnings that we had before during the pre-colonial period
up until other countries colonized us. The information we
learn in Philippine history will be valuable for us in the
present time and will help us especially in the future. That
is why it is very important to learn the Philippine History.

10 Evidences of Philippine History:

 Altar
 This is one of our historical evidences because this sto.nino
was the first thing given to the people of Cebu proving their
acceptance of the Christian religion.

 Old Cabinet
 This is an old cabinet that belonged to my grandmother's
mother. Because the materials used in it are several years or
decades old, I consider it historical evidence.
 Traditional Clothes
 Traditional clothes, such as the barong, are examples of our
history because these are the clothes that people wore at that
time.
 Calendar
 The calendar's year, day, and month serve as evidence of our
history; through it we will know the days or years of the
following events before and it will guide us in the present
times.
 Old Table
 This table, like our old cabinet, is an evidence in our history
because we have used it for many years and it has witnessed
several events in our house.
 Old Pictures
 Old photographs of my grandparents are a beautiful piece of
evidence of our history because they show the way,
appearance, and type of photograph at that time.
 Wooden Utensils
 Wooden utensils are also an example of historical evidence
because they are the tools that our ancestors used in their
cooking.
 Wedding Ceremony
 This wedding book of my parents is historical evidence
because it captures the appearance of the church of St. Ana
before 
 Baby Album
  It is also historical evidence because it shows the first things
taken from me when I was born, such as hair, thumb marks,
and so on.
 Old Money
 Old money is a good example in our history, because it shows
what money looked like then and we can compare it to what
our money looks like today.

What can you say about the protection about the following resources of
information?
 Ancestral House
 Even though our country's ancestral houses are few, I believe
we are properly protecting those houses. Even though its
appearance is getting old, but we can enhance it if we protect it
because it contains important information about our history.
 Old Documents
 For me, we should pay more attention to document protection
because that is what we use as information today. If we still
have old documents, we should protect them by storing them
in a neat and secure location.
 Traditional Family Customs
 We gave value on our traditional family customs, and we must
protect them because they will serve as information for future
generations; we must care for them so that we can pass it on to
them and it will not disappear and die. I've noticed that,
despite the fact that we live in a modern era, let us not forget to
practice our customs everyday
  Museum (Local and National) Archives
- Our history's information, whether it's an artifacts or documents,
we must care for and protect it; because over time, many changes
occur in our lives, and the materials that come from history become
old. So, with the help of our local or national museums, they are able
to protect the artifacts that we have, and allow us to learn about our
history. Giving some artifacts to the museum and archives is the best
way, because they can protect it and preserved it.
