Annexure I: - Eligibility criteria

Your admission shall be subject to submission of full proof of documentary evidence of your possessing
minimum educational qualification (We will make the eligibility criteria for specific program/course in
Admission letter uploaded on Micro site). In case of a foreign university degree, written confirmation
from Association of Indian University (AIU) for Equivalence of Degree will be required. . Please update
your 10+2 marks / Graduation marks (whichever applicable) in Amizone and please re-check your
eligibility criteria before joining the program.

In case, you have appeared in qualifying examination but the result is not yet declared, Submission of
full proof of documentary evidence in original of your possessing minimum educational qualification
latest by 4th October, 2021.

Annexure II: - Scholarship criteria & Scholarship application form

1) The timeline for submitting scholarship documents are as below. On-admission Scholarship cases –
Last day to submit Scholarship list along with supporting documents is 15 days from the date of closure
of admissions i.e 31st August 2021.

Other scholarship cases – Last date to submit Scholarship list along with supporting documents is 15
days from the date of declaration of results.

2) The candidate should have scored an aggregate of 75% or more in class XII (excluding physical
education, environmental education, performing arts, fine arts, painting, vocational & non-written
subjects)

3) The candidate should have passed in all subjects

4) Current minus 2 years gap permitted i.e., for 2021 intake, scores pertaining to 2020/2019 permitted
(for UG programs)

6) Amity University reserves the right to alter/modify the scholarship criteria.

7) If the candidate is granted scholarship along with the admission letter, he/she is expected to fill the
Scholarship form, attach 10th and 12th mark sheet photocopy accepting the Terms & Conditions of
scholarship criteria.

You may make the payment as per the details below: 

For Academic & Hostel Fee Payment:

• Academic Fee and Academic Security is to be in favor of “AMITY UNIVERSITY- MUMBAI” 

• Hostel Fee and Hostel Security is to be in favor of “Amity Hostel Fees” (if applicable) 

You may make the payment as per following options: 

OPTION - I: Through pay orders / demand draft, which have to be in favor of “AMITY UNIVERSITY-
MUMBAI” payable at Mumbai for Academic Fee and Academic Security. In case of Hostel Fee and Hostel
Security, pay orders/ demand draft is to be in favor of “Amity Hostel Fees”, payable at Mumbai and
photocopy of your complete Admission letter, on any working day at Admission Office at Amity
University Panvel Campus.

OPTION-II: Net banking (for both Academic and Hostel) through link available on admission microsite
www.amity.edu/mumbai (Then Choose Either Tech Process or Pay TM Option).

OPTION-III: Pay at any Axis Bank branch in India by way of Pay Order / Demand Draft / Cash (PAN
number required) – Pay-in-Slip Compulsory to be Printed from your Admission Microsite before going to
bank for fee deposit.

Annexure V: - Hostel facilities

Hostel Facilities: If opted, you will be offered hostel facility for the first academic year of the program.
Continuation of hostel facility in subsequent years will be as per the Hostel Guidelines. Hostel Seats
are limited and confirmation of hostel facility will be made on first come first serve basis.

As of date you can apply for the hostel facility, however you will be notified when hostel allotment
starts and for the payment of the hostel fees when the classes will commence in the campus. The
hostel fees will be charged from the month when it will be occupied till the end of the academic year.

However, it is imperative that you apply to opt for hostel, as it will be allotted on the first come first
serve basis.

Students will be staying in a twin sharing room. Upon Joining student will be provided with the following
furniture and linen:-

Dining & Canteen:-

● Amity University, Mumbai campus consists of multiple cafeterias spread across the campus.
These cafeterias cater for refreshment and eatables to the students, hostellers, faculty and the
operating staff respectively. The cafeterias are very spacious in order to accommodate students
and also have comfortable seating arrangement.

● The cafeteria has a number of food counters providing with a variety of food items to choose
from.  A well-organized “coupon” system is followed in the cafeteria in which a coupon is
bought from the main counter and this coupon is used to get the desired food item.

● Food charges are on actual basis and options of monthly dining are available. Also , à la carte
menu is also available for students’ hungry taste buds.

Sports facilities on campus:-

● Amity University, Mumbai provides Sports facilities & gymnasium in the campus
● Indoor Sports – (Table tennis and Chess)
● Outdoor Sports – (Cricket, football, volleyball, tennis, badminton etc.)

Annexure VI: - Transport facilities for day scholars

Amity University, Mumbai will be providing private bus services to all the day scholar students which are
on a chargeable basis at actual cost.

Students can use the services and the routes of the buses are fixed based on the strength of the
students.

Bus fees can be paid via Amizone under the tab “APPLY FOR TRANSPORT” only after payment of the
ACADEMIC fees.

● Please note that all the buses shall Amity branded and Non-AC only.
● Charges shall be semester-wise.
● Routes of the buses shall be fixed and en route boarding charges will be the same.
● Exact boarding points in all the above start points shall be communicated before the course
commencement.
● Final charges for the buses as per the route shall be communicated separately once the college
is starting physically.

Annexure VII: - Important Information

● If due to any reason you do not join the program on the scheduled date of joining or do not
produce proof of minimum educational qualification by the prescribed date or you withdraw
from the program or discrepancy is found between academic details furnished in the application
form and original documents submitted by you, your admission will stand cancelled and the fee
deposited will be forfeited except the Security Deposit.

● Amity has always been a ragging free campus. Ragging is totally banned in Amity University
Campus including its departments, constituent units, all its premises (academic, residential,
sports, canteen etc.) whether located within the campus or outside and in all means of
transportation of students whether public or private, and anyone found guilty of ragging and/or
abetting ragging is liable to be punished appropriately.
●
If any of the document(s) submitted by you to Amity University is found to be forged, fabricated
or false during the period of your study, your admission shall be cancelled immediately, and fee
shall be forfeited. In case you complete the course and obtain the degree on the basis of
documents which are later found to be forged, fabricated or false, at any point of time, your
degree shall be cancelled/recalled.

● Degree: The Award of Degree shall be as per prevailing law.

● Jurisdiction: Any dispute pertaining to admission, or any matter as a student or alumnus of

Amity shall be subjected to the jurisdiction of the Delhi Court Only.

● Limitation Clause: No dispute shall be raised after the expiry of 30 days from the date on which
the process of admission and/or selection is completed.

● Right of Alteration/Modification:

(a) Management reserves its right to alter or modify the structure of any of the programs to
attain the objective of excellence.
(b) Amity reserves its right to revise the Fee.
(c) Amity reserves its right to modify, alter and/or include any other Terms and Conditions that
may be deemed fit in the interest of the University.
