Introduction

Nowadays, the development of industrial areas has rapidly grown, including the
various amounts of oil used, but the damaged machine and bad energy management
conduct increase the existence of pollution. Refining processes, oil industries, and some
transportation in continuity produce huge amounts of oily wastewater. When oily
wastewater comes into the ecosystem, there are several negative effects including;
degradation of drinking water quality, pollution, threaten living creature’s health and
many more (Li Yu, 2013).

In conclusion there are various ways to do treatment of oily wastewater, like

flotation, oxidation process, coagulation, biological treatment, membrane separation
technology, combined technology (Li Yu, 2013). However, even the conventional oily
wastewater treatment has been found, there also have some bad effects concerning
environmental problems, also economical matter. This journal would discuss the
solution of oily wastewater treatment with biological agents: pseudomonas aeruginosa.

Pseudomonas species are able to utilize a huge range of little and big complex
organic compound. Pseudomonas lipases are important bacteria because it is interesting
among other lipases produced (prasad, 2014). Lipase produced by unicellular bacteria
mostly produced by genus pseudomonas, and also proved to be rewarding in reaction of
organic compounds, promoted in water treatment, and industrial of detergent production
(borkar,2009). Based on this citation, we are going to evaluate the potential of
pseudomonas aeruginosa NR.22 to change the oil in the wastewater become valuable
free fatty acid and construct the bad wastewater to source of clean water (Nik, 2017).

Generally, in Malaysia most of 45 percent of waste ends up at landfills including

coffee grounds. On the other studies, potential of coffee ground as nitrogen producer are
highly studied (a.j adi, 2008). Moreover, there are connection of nitrogen content as
fertilizer of pseudomonas aeruginosa that can increase the water treatment process.
Also, sewage sludge has a high potential in producing nitrogen, by composting
experiment that was held in a batch mode (Nassereldeen, 2011). It can be concluded that
there are several public wastes that can be more valuable to a wastewater treatment
process by pseudomonas bacteria, in this case we analyse the potential of sewage sludge
and coffee ground as fertilizer of pseudomonas bacteria in a wastewater treatment
process.

Materials

Oily wastewater
The material was isolated from different source, but in this case we obtain from cooking
oil factory near Malaysia, especially Kelantan. The bunch of oily wastewater packed by
sterile containers (Nik, 2017). From NIK,2017, table 1 show the characteristic of oily
wastewater before the treatment.

Pseudomonas species
A Pseudomonas aeruginosa collected from many lakes or river in malayia (NIK, 2017).
The kind of bacteria is a gram negative-rod shaped bacteria and contain 16S rRNA
gene, isolated to produced lipase enzyme. From NIK, 2017, the preparation has been
developed, and from figure 1, we know the kind of bacteria used and the pseudomonas
agar.
Coffe gorund
Used coffee ground come from the brewing coffe, and its bottom product after made the
coffee, generally in every country thow away the coffee ground, but in this experience
we’ll identify the potential used coffe ground (extracted) from coffee house near
petaling jaya (a.j, 2009).

Sewage sludge

Sewage sludge refer to byproduct of sewage treatment process (R.P singh, 2007), and
have big potential become fertilizer especialy in bacteria fertilizer that need the high
nitogen, the sewage sludge can be obtained in the river and generated in the town. In the
metal concentrations from sewage sludge depend on sewage origin, the treatment
process, and sludge treatment process. So from the table below, shows the sewage
sludge characteristic from Thailand, spain, and india as comparison (R.P singh, 2007).
