1 Water Test for pH, TDS & Total Hardness

Test for biological Contamination

Check the fan blades for cracks, missing

2 Fan balancing weights, and vibrations
Check condition of fan motor through
temperature and vibration analysis and
compare to baseline values

Lubricate Fan Shaft bearings

Lubricate Fan motor bearings

3 Packing Inspect for clogging and clean if necessary

Drift eliminator/
4 demister pad Inspect for clogging and clean if necessary

Water distribution Check spray Nozzles and Spray pattern.

5 system Clean if clogged

6 Cold water Basin Check for Dirt and sediments

Flush Basin Water. Refill Water after
Draining Slighlty more than usual and run
the pump

Check Water level in basin. It should always

be higher than Foot Valve

7 Suction Strainer Strainer should be removed and cleaned

Inspect Air Circulation. Remove any dirt/

8 Air inlet Louvers blockage that is blocking airflow to the unit

Check Pump for Cavitation, Corrosion,

9 Pump Vibration. Check All parts of pump

Check Motor for vibration and maintenance

Bleed-off valve/ Check bleed-off valve to make sure it is
10 Blowdown Valve operative
Inspect the tower body and structure for
11 Tower Body loose fitting, leakage and connections

Clean and refinish as required.

Pipelines and Metallic Check for corrosion. If corroded scrap/
12 Structures clean and coat with Suitable chemicals
