OF 2011-12 The Department of Environment, Government of West Bengal, Kolkata had already issued a ‘Directo to the State Municipal Affairs Department including all Urban and Local Bodies for taking necessaty steps to take proper measures by using certain ‘Guidelines’ during the construction of any projéct to:make it ‘ess hazardous’ from the Pollution point of view. ‘This is binding upon all the Municipal Corporations, Municipalities and other Local Bodies within the state, | ‘Any condtruction activity within the jurisdiction of KIM.C. has to comply with such Order duly passed by the Gepartment of Environment, Government of West-Bengal. Hence, it is circulated for all a) conceréd that all the projects specially the large projects having more than 500 Sq.M in case of any sort pf Development whether ‘Commerc’ or ‘Residentiar, should follow the Guidelines under the direétion published by the Department of Environment vide Direction No. EN/3170/T-IV- 7001/2008 dated 10" December, 2009, a copy of which Is circulated along with this Office Order for information to all concermed. However, in terms of the Direction passed by the Authoriy, all the Building Projects, henceforth, which wil be issued with the Building Permit shell have to comply with the requistion es per ‘Direction’ enclosed herewith issued by Department of Environment, 2s applicable for such project ing the course of construction to make this environment ‘pollutionree’ as far as applicable. A ecessary ‘Undertaking’ on a Nor-Jucicial Stamp Paper has to be submitted before formal delivery ofthe ‘Pian’ Permit.
