Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC)

Covid-19 Vaccination Centre

General Information

• Officially operating as vaccination centre: 31st May 2021

• Operations time: 8.00am – 5.00pm
• Controlled capacity of 2,600 dosage given for initial phase.
• One entrance and exit at the South Entrance
• Vaccinations will be conducted at two mega stations located at Hall 3 & Hall 4
• Vaccination programme will be managed by the Jabatan Kesihatan Titiwangsa and
Jabatan Kesihatan Manjalara (District Health Offices) under Ministry of Health Malaysia
(MOH)

Application for Covid-19 Vaccination at MITEC

• Please check your MySejahtera app to ensure confirmation of MITEC as your vaccination
venue
• Ensure you have registered in the MySejahtera app or log on to
https://www.vaksincovid.gov.my/en/
• Make sure that the app push notification is activated

Eligibility

• Only registered and confirmed citizens with MySejahtera appointment for MITEC will be
admitted into the Centre for the first phase
• The vaccination centre is not open to walk-ins
• Senior citizens can be accompanied by one companion
Getting to MITEC

1. Venue address: MITEC, 8, Jalan Dutamas 2, Kompleks Kerajaan, 50480 Kuala

Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur

2. By car:
• Accessible via major expressways including
a) DUKE (Duta-Ulu Klang Expressway)
b) NKVE (North Klang Valley Expressway)
c) SPRINT Highway
d) Jalan Kuching
• Waze/Google Maps: MITEC

3. e-hailing services: passengers to be dropped off at South Entrance

Amenities

• More than (1400) parking available at RM 5.00 for first three hours and flat rate of RM
10.00 thereafter. Visitors are encouraged to park closest to the South Entrance parking.
• Alternate open-air parking also available at MATRADE at a rate of Rm7 (5-minute walk)
• Wheelchair assistance provided on request
• Flat floor access from the South Entrance drop-off point
• Buggy pick up points in the car park and around MITEC
• Special lanes for the physically challenged
• Food & Beverage available for purchase with no dine-ins

Is it safe to be at MITEC?

• The Centre is sanitized on a daily basis, your health and safety is our priority
• There is only one entrance and exit during the programme
• Should a Patient Under Investigation individual turn up, access will be denied

Standard Operating Procedures & Visitors To-Do List

No. THINGS TO REMEMBER

1. Wear your mask always and observe social distancing of at least 1 metre
2. Flash your confirmed appointment on the MySejahtera app for admission
3. Make sure you received notification of your vaccination appointment, check time and
date and arrive 30 minutes in advanced
4. Carry the following items:
ü Your Identity Card document of your country
ü A Pen to fill out forms
ü Your jacket or something warm as venue is air-conditioned
ü Refreshing towel
ü Your cell phone to show appointment confirmation time

5. Consider travel time to your vaccination venue

6. Cancel your appointment if you have COVID-19 or symptoms
7. Eat and drink sufficient liquids before your vaccination
 8. Follow directions to drop off zone at the South Entrance of MITEC or if you are parking
follow directions to parking at South entrance
9. You may opt for a t-shirt with a sleeve that can be easily folded up for the vaccination
10. Stay alert and kindly follow instructions from officers around MITEC
11. Sanitize after touching door handles or any surfaces

What are the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to enter MITEC ?

1. Register to be vaccinated via MySejahtera app
• Flash your MySejahtera registration page at entry checkpoints
• OR Log on to https://www.vaksincovid.gov.my/en/ to register
• OR Call 1800-888-828 to register
2. Wait for the vaccination appointment date and details via MySejahtera.
• Ensure that the MySejahtera app push notification is activated for you to receive
details on the appointment
