Course Objectives
Hydrologic cycle, hydrometeorology, precipitation, streamflow, evaporation and evapotranspiration, surface and subsurface water
interactions, hydrograph analysis and synthesis, groundwater hydrology, rainfall runoff models, flood frequency analysis

Assessment of Student Learning


Assessment Dates or deadlines

Midterm exams: Closed-book exams will be performed online. Formula sheet will be distributed. You may use
calculator. More detailed instructions regarding format and content of the exam will be given later in the semester.

Final project: This is take home research project that involves written report submission about the final
projects.The topics include remote sensing and geographic informaiton systems in environmental hydrology.

3. There will be two mid-term exams and a term paper during the semester.
4. No make-up exam will be given without an official medical report, a copy of which should be given to your instructor by yourself.
