“International travellers can cause problems in the countries to which they travel.

On the other hand, international travellers can bring real advantages with them.”
Do the problems international travellers cause greater than the advantages they
bring?

Globalization, as well as diplomatic relations among countries has facilitated the

development of tourism industry. This leads people to question about the
underlying impacts of international travellers on their destinations. While their
effects appear to be detrimental to some extent, I believe that the contributions they
have made are significant.

The flows of foreign tourists are not as harmless as they may seem. Differences
among various cultures can cause unintentional misinterpretations that may result
in bad impressions about their nation. For example, in Western countries, giving
kisses and hugs is considered a common way to greet each other. Meanwhile, in
some Asian's belief, these actions are somehow impolite to be shown in public.
Furthermore, contagious diseases are easily spread when crossing boundaries is
free. The Covid-19 pandemic is a remarkable consequence of travelling as Wuhan
citizens move to other places and accidentally infect the healthy.

However, the advantages foreign tourists bring are undisputed. Several authorities
still considerably invest in tourism services since the profit they generate is
massive. Tourism has always been one of the most lucrative industry and it can
dramatically boost national economy. Local businesses have been enhanced
accordingly and offer job opportunities for countless unemployed. In addition,
some countries which have amazing but underestimated traditional crafts may have
a chance to promote their unique products and gain certain positions thanks to
many foreign journeyers.

In conclusion, I agree that international tourists can bring lots of advantages to

areas they visit although some matters still emerge and have negative influences.
