How to Test the Milli-Q® CLX 7040 - 7150 Level

Before you begin

Important: Confirm that the Microswitch SW31 on the Process Board

(LRG2_AFS_EC_Level_Sensor_Specs.html) is set correctly for your level sensor
configuration.

About this task

Procedure

1. Put the Makeup and Distribution processes in STANDBY.

2. Switch off the power and remove the power cord from the system.

3. Remove connection CHIN/CHOUT from the system back panel.

4. Power on the system.

If the MMI... then...

does not display

TANK LEVEL test the Process Board.
SENSOR (../Electronics_Software/LRG2_EC_Process_Board_How_To_Test.html)
FAILURE alarm

displays TANK
LEVEL SENSOR proceed to next step.
FAILURE alarm

Note: You may also see TANK OVERFLOW and TANK

EMPTY alarms.

5. Switch off the power and remove the power cord from the system.

6. Reconnect connector CHIN/CHOUT at the back of the system.

7. Remove connector LS1 from the ASM
