events and ideas in order
Reading Guide:
Answering questions in their
reading guide/study guide as
they read throughout my
lecture
Quiz midway through DULP:
Assess what students
understand about the different
spheres of Progressivism, and
one example of each
Online Class Discussion:
Students informally discuss
what they have learned and
internalized from the primary
sources they read
Jeopardy Board Game:
Create a Jeopardy style
boardgame in which the
student creates the categories
and the questions and answers.
They then share with each
other, and play for fun.
Students write their own
questions and answers as they
harden their knowledge of
progressivism
Choice Board
Students choose 3 activities to
do to show their creative
talents as they convey their
understandings of
progressivism through a form of
digital media. Effort and
creativity are graded, not
outcome of projects.
Essay: Students write a 2-page
essay on their selected articles.
Students describe why
reformers wanted change, how
they accomplished that change,
and how it connects to their
own lives and communities
