This is how I have prepared the iPods for the kids. I printed, laminated and
cut out each iPod. Then, I punched a hole and put the iPods on a ring to keep
all the iPods together.

I made a few sets, so I labeled each set on the back with a Created By: Sue Lynch
different color star sticker.
Directions: Print out iPods on cardstock, laminate and cut
for durability. Students will choose an iPod, scan the
QR Code and sit back and enjoy the story!
The time for each story/video is placed in the circle of the iPod!

Tidbits: Each iPod is labeled with the title and author of the story. Each ipod has been created to
share the story/video only through the SafeShare.T V site. The scanned QR Codes will not allow
anyone to see advertisements or click on anything that will link to an alternate site. It is safe. Each
iPod has the playing time of the story/video in the center circle of the ipod.
Ideas/Uses: Students can use these for individual or small group use for a center or even as a
reinforcement reward. If your device is able to connect to your projector/smartboard, the whole
class can even enjoy! These are also great for special needs students. There are lots of ways to
Integrate these iPods within your classroom!

QR CODES: Download a FREE QR Code Scanner from the App Store on your
device. There are many available. Once the QR Scanner is downloaded, you
are ready to scan away! The kids will LOVE scanning the QR Codes!
It’s engaging and fun!
