Healthy Lifestyle of a student

Introduction

Research has shown that students with a healthy lifestyle are linked having
higher grades, better memory and alertness, faster information processing and overall
improved performances in activities.

Having a healthy lifestyle means living such a life that includes all the ingredients
necessary to live a balanced life. Healthy lifestyle has a lot of elements. It does not just
mean having a healthy diet, a healthy lifestyle includes, proper exercise regimen, sound
sleep regularly, positive thinking and leading a stress-free life. All these essential
elements help us to become healthy, strong and lead a disease free life.

The issue of having a healthy lifestyle is very serious but the people take it very
lightly. Often, it is seen that the people take steps to improve their lifestyle but due to
lack of determination quits in the midway.

Importance of Healthy Lifestyle of a Student

When you’re a student living a healthy lifestyle extends not only your life but also
rejuvenates your body and mind; it will help you to feel better. Although a healthy habit
is very hard to develop, it needs a change in one’s mindset.

Our body needs a combination of physical and psychological fitness to stay


active and fit. All sorts of diseases and sickness get weed out. The seeds of healthy
eating and exercising should be sown from a young age when children start
understanding.

Kids these days do not know the importance of healthy lifestyle. They prefer to
stay inside and spend time on mobile rather than going out to play.

These dull habits become a part of their life and they become lazy. They lack
proper discipline and determination to achieve any goal in life. People need to
understand that a healthy lifestyle is very important to live a happier, peaceful and long
life.

The countless benefits of a healthy lifestyle cannot be neglected. A healthy lifestyle


helps to prevent many chronic diseases like heart disease, hypertension and diabetes.
Students are at most creative when the brain is at rest and motivated. Junk food does
little to invigorate the brain because it does not nourish it much. Healthy foods feed the
mind, make you alert and give you the energy to move as well as improve your mood.

Exercising daily and sleeping early has a good effect on the mental states of
students, they become less prone to stress and make the student more productive. A
good and healthy lifestyle also prevents students from being dragged into smoking,
drinking alcohol and using drugs as a way to relieve stress

However, we must remember that having a healthy lifestyle not only refers to our
physical and mental health. Maintaining a balanced diet, exercising daily, and sleeping
well are essential parts of a healthy lifestyle. But feeling happy is also a big part of a
healthy lifestyle, one must be a positive thinker if a person does not feel happy or good
about themselves, they are not entirely healthy.  If we think positively and avoid
negativity we will feel better to do everyday tasks. Our body will feel more energized
and freer to move. When a person is fit, he performs activities of his daily life more
confidently

Conclusion

Not only should everyone strive for a healthy lifestyle but it is a must when you’re
a student. As a healthier lifestyle helps you clear your mind, relieves you of stress,
improve your mental capacity and energizes your body to be more productive and able
to perform activities much better than before. That’s why it is believed that a healthy
person is the true asset for society. We should strictly follow a healthy lifestyle routine to
live a healthy life.
