1. MARKOMANIA: MARKETING CLUB 

“If you can, be first. If you can’t be first, create a new category in which you can be first”
-Al Ries and Jack Trout, The 22 Immutable laws of Marketing, 1994.
Markomania is the Marketing Club of NDIM. It is a platform where students get an
opportunity to blend marketing theories with real time application. It also keeps the student
fraternity abreast with the latest happenings in the arena of Marketing and Branding.
Marketing Club keeps on organizing Quizzes, Guest Lectures, National Seminar, inter and
intra-college competitions. Markomania facilitates an interaction with the alumni and
industry experts.Markomania endeavours, providing maximum marketing exposures to all
students of NDIM to help them become the best in their domain.

Marketing Club at NDIM explores various opportunities, where students can get an
exposure to real life experiences and polish their analytical and problem-solving skills,
making them perfect for the corporate world.

2. FINANCE CLUB

“Finance is the lifeblood of any organisation.” It is not just a phrase rather the essence for all
trivial and giant organisations. Thus, finance professionals play a leading role in shaping the
growth and survival of any company. Analytics and artificial intelligence in addition has
increased the relevance and importance of financial numbers. NDIM, through its FINANCE
CLUB nurtures the forthcoming budding managers to become part of success stories in
various multinationals. It provides a platform to students of PGDM 1 st year to explore their
talent and interests in multiple interesting activities. Case study solutions, stock market
games, quizzes, role plays and such stimulating events contribute towards this club’s life.
We try to inculcate skills and values required for cracking placements at companies like
Blackrock, Deloitte, E&Y, Protiviti, WIPRO, Cians Analytics to name a few. 
You all are invited to join this esteemed club. We look forward to your contribution and zeal

3. HR CLUB

“If you want creative workers, give them enough time to play.”
– John Cleese
Human resources (HR) is the umbrella term used to describe the management and
development of employees in an organisation. Ultimately, it is all about increasing employee
performance. The coronavirus pandemic has forced us to re-evaluate the way we do business.
Every manager is also an HR Manager, so as part of this, the HR function is taking centre stage.
With the above information in mind the HR Club at NDIM is focussed to groom and equip our
students with the necessary HR skills and knowledge that is a must for every manager to
help achieve high performance from every employee involved in delivering the core / line
activity of the organization. This will also help achieve high personal growth and success in
the business world.
HR Club would focus to groom and equip HR students with the necessary HR skills needed in
each of the sub themes as above, It will also through the HR Club activities address the
issues of leadership, empathy, organizing and team work along with the knowledge that is a
must for their personal growth and success in the business world. The focus thus is on both
– the generic HR skills and specific HR functional skills.
The above would be achieved by

 Helping students understand the concepts and theories of HR and how to apply
them. This will also help them to prepare for Interviews in HR domain.
 Bringing the students together on a common platform where they can enhance their
HR skills through participation and involvement in various HR related activities.
 The club ensures that the students are better prepared to handle the complexities
and challenges of the outside world.

4. IT CLUB

The IT Club of NDIM, provides you ample ground to stay connected and identify all these
new innovations and new tools and practice their absorption into your day-to-day activities
by organizing various events around the new learnings. 
For every separate activity and for every new idea that comes to the mind of club members,
we would expect different set of students to lead and organize events to their satisfaction.
We therefore expect every club member to play leadership role in not only learning new IT
tools but also promoting it to all others. 
We hold various workshops, seminars, inter and intra college Quizzes, Treasure Hunt,
different competitions and gaming sessions. All the activities of IT club are student driven
and are conceptualized and executed by students under the guidance of IT Club faculty.
Every student will get a chance to lead an event, thus, for every new event a new team will
take the onus and leadership for the successful implementation of the same.

5. IB CLUB

Through IB club, you would be gaining an exposure to the latest international events and
happenings, which are essential for becoming a global manager. In this fast-changing geo-
economics and geo-political environment, a business leader can remain relevant only if they
keep track of the international events. Global Yoddha Club, provides the relevant platform
to embrace the global mindset and create that edge for yourself! All those who have been
interested in international news can stay connected with the latest happenings in the world
and must join this club to think with an international mindset.
The IB club will provide opportunities to connect with the brightest business leaders and
ambassadors. Club members will earn additional experience learning credits for club
activities. 

CLUB OBJECTIVES:
#      To provide a platform where students of NDIM will get an opportunity to be
aware about the Global Business Ecosystem.
#      To develop an understanding of international business, geo-politics and geo-
economics coupled with policies, cross-border business strategy and managerial
efficiency for global competitiveness. 
#      Develop comprehension of various cross-cultural situations and to help them
understand the behavioral forces impacting international business.

6. OPERATIONS & SCM CLUB

Operations and supply chains are lifelines of organizations. An organization can survive only
if it has a robust operations and supply chain. A supply chain manages flow of products,
funds, and information, and at any time any one or more of these flows are disrupted, an
economy collapses.
Operations and SCM club provides a forum for professionals and students to network,
further their educational and career goals and grow together with the commitment to learn
and excel.  The aim is to introduce students to the world of operations and supply
chain. This club will enable students to learn how organizations improve their operational
effectiveness and how their supply chain is a source of competitive advantage. This club will
provide students with a framework to think more critically, work more collaboratively, and
to develop approaches to tackle complex workplace challenges more holistically.

All the activities of SCOC club are student driven and executed by students. 

7. AI/ML CLUB

AI/ML Club welcomes students to the exciting world of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and
Machine Learning (ML). In today’s world, AI has influenced and touched nearly every facet
of our daily lives, business operations, our social life and society.
“AI is all Around Us”
Thus AI/Ml club aims to serve as a platform for discussions, learning about, and working on
topics related to data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence. The club would
offer a home base to all the students interested in data science, machine learning, and
analytics, assisting/guiding them acquire additional skills and tools needed to succeed in
their career, whether in academia or industry.

8. THE ECONOMICS CLUB–ECONIMIA

The Economics Club of New Delhi Institute of management aims to facilitate knowledge
sharing and propagation of intellectual ideas. The club brings a forum to contribute, share
and learn in a conducive environment.
Economics Club is dedicated towards inculcating economics and financial know-how among
the student community and aims to inspire an understanding and application of economic
concepts in day-to-day issues of life among students who realizes the immense importance
and practical relevance of this field in the complex world
The club intends to facilitate the enrichment and dissemination of economic knowledge.
The club will be First Youth Economic Forum of NDIM.
With the above information in mind the Economics club Club at NDIM is focussed to  
increase knowledge, fostering understanding, and stimulating interest of the students in the
complex and interesting field of economics
Club Outcome 
 To enable the students to apply knowledge from the economic domain to day-to-day
life.
 Bringing the students together on a common platform where they can enhance their
analytical skills through participation and involvement in various economic related
activities.
 The club will enable the student to comprehend the impact of various Government
Policies on the economy.
 The club ensures that the students are better prepared to handle the complexities
and challenges of the economy which impacts business. 

9. DIGITAL MARKETING CLUB

As the NDIM DM Club, our mission is to provide a platform for the students to inculcate
power of integrated digital approach and explore relevant developments in Industry related
to analytics, social media while building a network within and beyond NDIM.

Stay on the cutting edge of technology, digital marketing skills, and Industry best practices
and learn from the interactive events and simulation activities, knowledge, and networking
connections.

10.DECISION CLUB

The proliferation of quantitative information in society demands that we must develop the
next generation of statistics professionals. To meet this objective the mission of the Decision
Sciences club is to

 To impart the analytical and problem-solving ability beyond the classroom to handle
real-life decision-making challenges,
 Building self-confidence, leadership qualities, organizing abilities.
 The club offers a hands-on experience for the students by participating in various
activities that prepares them for the workplace

11.CULTURAL & DRAMATICS CLUB

Cultural Club gives a platform to students to unleash their talents, more exposure to face
the world and their personality enhancement along with lots of learning through fun. The
main objective of the club is to bring about a voluntary change in the students.
Club members can be demanding on themselves and not only earn additional experience
learning credits but also add on such additional skills which will help them run-up the
corporate ladder.
For every separate activity and for every new idea that comes to the mind of club members,
we would expect different set of students to lead and organise events to their satisfaction.
We therefore expect every club member to play leadership role while organizing all the
events of cultural Club.
Drama improves overall academic performances 

Several studies have demonstrated a correlation between drama involvement and academic


achievement. In addition to having higher standardised test scores, students who
participate in drama often improve reading comprehension, maintain better attendance
records, and stay generally more engaged in class.
Club members can be demanding on themselves and with the help of new age learning not
only earn additional experience learning credits but also add on such additional skills which
will help them run-up the corporate ladder.
For every separate activity and for every new idea that comes to the mind of club members,
we would expect different set of students to lead and organise events to their satisfaction.
We therefore expect every club member to play leadership role in promoting it to all others.
Also there are immense takeaways for all joining the club and participating in the activities
of the club.

12.SPORTS CLUB

The objective of the Sports Club is to provide an atmosphere that promotes the
development of skills, competition that fosters self-improvement and sportsmanship, and
allows the budding managers to have fun at the same time. NDIM facilitates its students to
excel in the field of sports thereby inculcating high level of physical endurance and discipline
which is a must in order to outshine in the present competitive environment. We at NDIM
focus to achieve this aim.

Club Outcomes (CO)

 Through sports we want to inculcate the values in our students that Success is not
something that just happens – success is learned, success is practiced and then it is shared.
Students learn to take initiative and organize events. Every year students organize an annual
sports event where teams from large number of colleges participate. They also organize
events in single sports like table tennis and pool throughout the year.

13.FOODIEZ CLUB

Foodiez Club at New Delhi Institute of Management keeps the mission to bring out a recipe
that includes a motivational pinch of creativity and delicious presentation skills of the future
management leaders. It provides the platform not only to keep a check and control over the
college canteen food, menu, and hygiene factors but also to explore the talents of students
in terms of creativity and presentation reflected during various events viz.a.viz. Dessert
Making Competition, Salad Making Competition, Master Chef, My Favorite Delicacy, etc.
Student coordinators sharpen their skills in Event Management and Coordination with other
Club Activities. So, if you love food and don’t believe in control on Appetite, then Foodiez
Club welcomes you to join.

14.MOVIES CLUB

Movies are not just an indulgence anymore……they are there as a learning kit. Movies are
reflection of the world we live in. Cinema is an all-encompassing medium a very powerful
one.
Movies draw their inspiration from life and often present great lessons in management
through celluloid presentation.
The kind of films one watches has the potential to change one's personality, thought
process, life style, etc. Ever wondered how “Lagaan” is linked to team work or “Sully”
teaches crisis management.
The Aim of the Club
 The NDIM Movies Club aims at exposing students to a variety of social,
economic, management and ethical themes through a select set of films.
 The aim is to sensitize and learn from them. This will have a great bearing on
making them better managers and citizens.
 The movies selected will be from various streams of management like
economics, public policy, operations management, strategic management,
human resources, organizational behavior and corporate ethics.
 Students will be encouraged to raise critical questions and relate the
cinematic themes to theories and core concepts from different branches of
management.
 We showcase movies with a message and qualities which stimulate
leadership skills and practical knowledge of management concept. Students
learn about Team work and dedication while getting enticed with
entertainment and laughter.
 
What will Movie Club Coordinator do?
 
Ø Team will prepare a poster, showcasing the movie to be shown with time and
venue, which will be used for inviting and promotion of the event.
Ø Team will organize the Amphitheatre or online to have a smooth experience for
the movie-goer and college-friendly print of the movie is to be arranged.

15.LITERALY CLUB

“To impart insights in improving the oratory, self-confidence, leadership qualities, organizing
abilities and as well writing skills of the student participants. The club offers an all-inclusive
development of the students by participating in various intellectual and literary activities”. 
Club Outcomes:
They are achieved: 
 By participating in various literary events of the club like debate, reciting self
-composed poem, public speaking, essay writing, etc. 
 By participating in number of literary events outside NDIM
 By providing a platform to show case the students’ hidden talents 
 The club helps students to organize different events and show their leadership
qualities
 The members of the club get opportunities to attend seminars and other functions
being held in other parts of Delhi

16.YOGDAAN CLUB

“Deliver to society, to history…. so that.... it’s remembered”

NDIM CSR is a club which works towards helping the poor and needy people.
Corporate social responsibility which is also known today as a Global Social Responsibility is
the need of the hour for budding managers. It is essential to know your responsibility
towards the society, being a budding corporate. Members of this club take an initiative
towards helping the society. The club organizes a wide range of activities for community
development like winter cloth collection drive , workshops, art classes, skill development,
Diwali celebrations with underprivileged , Book donation drive and the list is ever
emerging.     
Our promise to society: Enrich lives and protect nature
We at NDIM, aim to positively contribute towards economic, environmental, and social well-
being of communities through our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) interventions. From
educating children to planting trees across India, we undertake interventions to help
communities around.
The rippling effect our activities is immense positivity that is encouraging everyone at NDIM
campus to serve the needy and continually put efforts to spread the message of:

17.PHOTOGRAPHY CLUB

Photography Club allows students to enjoy and learn about photography. It aims to create
the opportunities for every student to discover the artist within themselves and also gives
them the platform to paint their dreams into reality. Students will learn how to improve
their picture taking, interact with other photographers and display their work. Beginners
and experts are always welcome to explore the world of photography.
Objectives:

 Present topics for inspiration, education, motivation, and the artistry of photography
 To provide a supportive environment for students interested in photography to
share their creativity, knowledge and passion for photography
 To inculcate the habit of imagination of beauty and art by actively organizing events
 To encourage students to express their thoughts and emotions through art or
photography
 To have fun with photography

18.WE (WOMEN EMPOWERMENT) CELL

WE Cell at NDIM has been created to empower women in the country and to build teams to
execute social entrepreneurship. Currently, 145 male and female students are working on
12 different social projects for the upliftment of society and moving towards accomplishing
various goals to promote and lead Women Empowerment and Social Entrepreneurship. As
part of their study and internships, MBA students of NDIM are working at the following
goals to promote and lead Social Women Entrepreneurship in a big way:

 Story Telling by successful women entrepreneurs


 Study entrepreneurial ecosystems and schemes available to women and help in the
documentation processes
 Design business plans on women entrepreneurships
 Manage social media identity of a woman entrepreneur
 Research on traditional business opportunities in the social entrepreneurship space
through primary research
 Managing research, preparing presentations and sales pitch for women
entrepreneurs
 Digital literacy to women entrepreneurs and their employees
 Stories of Women on Big Corporate Boards and also on Women leading Social
Organizations
19.E CELL: INCUBE - THE ENTREPRENEURSHIP CELL AT NDIM

InCube was formally launched on 5th March, 2016 by our chairman Shri. V M Bansal as a
platform for our students to practice & experience the world of entrepreneurship at campus
through various activities and competitions, thereby learning entrepreneurship skills,
developing entrepreneurial mindset, and simultaneously explore entrepreneurship as a
career option.

InCube is a platform for the young minds to incubate, nurture and develop their
entrepreneurial ideas. The platform is designed to accelerate growth and success of
entrepreneurial ventures through an array of support systems.

The key objective of the e-cell is to experience your venture while being at the campus.
InCube will assist you in promoting your ideas, give you space and take you to the next level.
As member of the e-cell, you get to participate in various innovation and entrepreneurship-
related activities, organize periodic workshops/ seminars/ interactions with entrepreneurs,
investors, professionals and create a mentor pool for student innovators, network with
peers and national entrepreneurship development organizations, thereby helping in
developing your creativity, critical thinking, team building and leadership skills.
We want to support all of you in a big way to take you to the next level in your start-up
initiatives.

20.CREATIVITY AND INNOVATION CLUB

 At the onset, the group of motivated students will join as members and then will organize
competitions, simulation games and learning through training programs and activities. This
experiential learning will stimulate their brains for Out of box thinking and thus enhance
their creative skills.  Members will work to bring the creative leaders from corporate to
further gain knowledge, hone their skills and develop right attitude for this.
The student members in the club will assist with training programs, webinars and
competitions planning, thus providing them a close perspective on the processes
of Creativity and Innovation. During these unique sessions they will not only
practice creativity, out of box thinking but also be able to observe others creative ideas,
understand the nuances of the Innovation processes. They will get invaluable learning from
others and their own performance.

21.GROOMING & ETIQUETTES CLUB


IMPORTANCE OF GROOMING & ETIQUETTE LEARNING PLATFORM: To hone Global
Business Etiquette, Corporate Grooming and develop an Impressionable Personality
We get only one chance to make a FIRST impression, the first impression is the last
impression, for creating a permanent good one it is essential to conduct oneself with
decorous élan. This is a platform for all aspirants who wish to enhance their image,
create a good first impression in order to be effective in the workplace and achieve
good interpersonal skills and emerge as winners.
It is all about personality, body language, grooming, manners & etiquette and
experiencing how small things make a big difference.
GROOMING & ETIQUETTE is an integral part of one's personality, creates awareness, self-
confidence, motivation, commitment and positive orientation and high morale leading to
greater performance and productivity.

22.BEYOND THE CAMPUS CLUB

“To encourage the students to participate in events and competitions in Institutions beyond
their own campus. All of these efforts result in an improved level of confidence, leadership
qualities and enriched knowledge.”

Purpose

The students get a bigger platform, more exposure and develop a sense of responsibility
when they participate in and coordinate the events and the competitions.

Club Outcomes

 By participating in various events beyond the NDIM campus like sports, quizzes, case
study challenge, cultural functions etc. students get a bigger platform to show case
their hidden talents
 By participating in number of events outside NDIM students get more exposure

23 . Sustainability Club for Sustainable Mindset

The issue of sustainability has become pivotal for development because with the changing
time and development of technology society wants more and more benefits from the
resources present in our nature. Hence with the increasing use, the resources are depleting
and are affecting ecological balance. Sustainable development refers to meeting the needs
of today without compromising the needs. Sustainable Hence

Sustainability club at NDIM aims at organising activities:
