DC FAIR REPAIR 1610
Single Component, Cementitious, Blowhole Filler and Levelling Mortar for Cosmetic
Repairs to New Constructions
DESCRIPTION
DC FAIR REPAIR 1610 is a concrete-grey, ready-
to-use mortar based on hydraulic binders, high
grade sands, modified with special additives. It
contains no chlorides or other salts that might
cause corrosion or blooming.
DC FAIR REPAIR 1610 produces a smooth
cementitious paste ideally suited to filling of
small surface defects and blowholes thin layers
of up to 5mm maximum.
RECOMMENDED USES
DC FAIR REPAIR 1610 is especially suitable for

APPLICATION PROCEDURE
SUBSTRATE PREPARATION
The substrate should be thoroughly soaked, to
a saturated but surface dry condition prior to
application of the DC FAIR REPAIR 1610.
Surfaces to which DC FAIR REPAIR 1610
mixtures are to be applied, should be clean,
sound and free of oil, grease and loose
particles.
To avoid too high temperatures, it is advised to
shade areas for the period of application.
MIXING
It is recommended that only full bags of 20 kg
are mixed.
DC FAIR REPAIR 1610 should be mixed by
mechanical means with a slow speed drill and
spiral paddle. The required amount of gauging
water should be placed in the mixing bucket
and the DC FAIR REPAIR 1610 powder added
and mixed for approximately 3 minutes until a
smooth, creamy and lump free consistency is
achieved. The water additions shall be a
maximum of 5.6 litres per 20 kg bag
METHOD OF USE
Apply the well-mixed DC FAIR REPAIR 1610
without delay to the prepared damp surwith a
spatula or trowel; thin layers may be applied
with a brush.
A fine mist spray of clean water should be
applied to the finished surface. The hardened
DC FAIR REPAIR 1610 can then be smoothed
using sandpaper.
Alternatively, DC FAIR REPAIR 1610 can be
applied as a leveling mortar by steel float up to
5 mm thick. The final finishing shall be by steel
