Instructions Online E-learning Module

In order to familiarize with the Boskalis Offshore Fleet Management System, a computer based learning
module is available.

Depending on your function you need to conduct the following parts of the training:

Function Part of Manual for Training and Testing Duration

Master onboard General Chapters, Nautical Chapter and 100 minutes
Technical Chapter
Senior and Junior Deck Nautical Chapter (General Chapter Included) 80 minutes
Officers
Senior and Junior Engine Technical Chapter (General Chapter included) 80 minutes
Officers
Fleet Managers / Vessel General Chapters, Nautical Chapter and 100 minutes
Managers / Technical Technical Chapter
Superintendents / SHEQ
personnel
Crewing Managers and General Chapters 60 minutes
Coordinators
All other shore personnel General Chapters 60 minutes

The aforementioned duration is the maximum required. The training may be conducted in less time
depending on the reading speed/comprehension of the trainee.

For Personnel doing both the Nautical and the Technical Chapters, the general Chapter is available in both
hyperlinks, but it needs to be studied only once. However, the test in both hyperlinks needs to be taken.

1. Training

The two white buttons on the top, will introduce you in the various parts of the management system.

2. Testing and Certification

After completion of the Training you may take the test by clicking the yellow button:

After clicking the yellow button, the first of 20 multiple choice questions will appear.

If you answer at least 15 questions correct, the following message will appear on the screen:
Click on Print Results to get the certificate issued, and 1. enter your name when requested so, 2. click on
“+” button and 3. Click to print:

The certificate will look like the following example:

Save a copy of your certificate in PDF. You may also print it in hard copy.
