The following maintenance procedure refers to the JCB engine only. It does not apply to the machine or equipment in which it
is installed. Consult the manufacturers operation manual for further information.

(1) If operating under arduous conditions, do an engine oil flush (use the normal recommended engine oil) every 250 hours.
Change the engine oil and filter every 250 hours. Change oil and filter every 250 hours if the engine is operated at >70% duty
factor.

(2) The oil service interval will be affected if there is a high sulphur content in the fuel. Refer to Fluids, Lubricants and Capacities,
Fuel for more information.

(3) When the engine is operated with B20 biodiesel change the engine oil and filter every 250 hours. Other service requirements
apply. Refer to Fluids, Lubricants and Capacities, Fuel for more information about operating the engine with B20 biodiesel.

(4) If operating in dusty adverse working environments, do these jobs more frequently.

(5) If >65% duty factor, change crankcase filter at 500 hours.(Duty factor is the amount of fuel consumption in normal operating
conditions compared with fuel consumption at maximum fuel flow/power.)

(6) These jobs must be done by a qualified engineer.
