Project#1 Electronic File Processing (ELF)


One of the most prestigious project in Revenue cabinet as this system processes the IRS mainframe files, vendor
specific files, 2D bar files, Vendor specific files by .Net multi thread windows application. Front-end application
ASP.Net application supports multi-users environment for different reports, generating the final text file for mainframe
upload, Acknowledgement file for IRS as well as for vendors. This project is multi tier application includes data-Access
layer, business logic layer, and presentation layer.

Role/Responsibilities as a Microsoft.Net Consultant/ Lead Developer:

Phase: 1 Web application:


 Developed intranet tax processing web application using ASP. Net, VB.Net, XML, XSD, XSLT, VBScript, and
JavaScript.
 Performed performance testing using Application Center Test, Event log.
 Developed web services (.asmx) file to expose search query data to other applications, which can consume
web services.
 Developed Exception handler library (.dll), which interact with web.config of web application.
 Developed Client-side scripts using JavaScript, and VBScript.

Phase: 3 Server background Process (.Net Client/Server Windows Application):


 Developed multithread client/Server window application through usage of System. Threading namespace
classes.
 Used Remoting features to call another objects resides in another application domain.
 Used Win32 API (Platform-Invoke) for labeling floppy volume and for system level APIs.
 Process the zipped files submitted by IRS, Vendors.
 Validation of the tax returns.

Project#2 Application Inventory Management system (AIMS) Web based application:


This project is mainly related to maintain the application details regarding security, users who deal with the specific
applications, tracking the user operations to the application. Maintain the different codes which are being used in all
application of Kentucky revenue cabinet.

Role/Responsibilities:
 Used Microsoft VS.Net 2005 for developing the Web forms and Win forms.
 Extensively used ASP.Net features such as Caching, Debugging and tracing.
 Used VB.Net language for code behind pages to use the OOPs functionalities.
 Used COM component and Crystal.Net in application for several dynamic reports and tax –forms generation.

The project is mainly related to develop company’s intranet web application according to the requirements of different
departments. So different departmental reports, as well as the pay period for every employee for respective
department has been carried out.

Role/Responsibilities (as Sr.Web Developer/Application Developer):


 Responsible for creation of a new corporate event registration application which allows all employees to view and
register for events and access personal profile information online.
 Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology that handles login checking for the administrator of a particular
department so that he/she can update the proper information, day-by-day activities, and news.
 Developed the web solutions which supports cross browsers i.e. IE5.0 and Netscape browsers
