What causes you to stress?
-the things that causes me to go under stress was the
adversities that I am facing and encountering in my
everyday life.
Can you give me 3 signs which you can claim that you are
under stress?
-The 3 signs that made me believe that I am under stress
are as follows: dark circles, unable to focus and hard time
sleeping.
How does it affect you?
-It affected me in a way that I am unable to look myself on
the mirror because I feel like I am ugly and my face was not
good enough. It affected me as well whenever I want to do
something that I am really interested on doing, I cannot
really focus on things especially on the things I love at
doing. And lastly, by having a hard time sleeping. Because
of the lack of sleep, my relationship with my parents are
affected because they always scold me because of my
sleeping issues and whenever I try my best to close my eyes
and fall into sleep, but my best wasn’t good enough because
I still can’t sleep. All these things affected my life all because
of stress.
Can you identify between a positive and a negative stress?
How is it?
-Yes, people perceived that stress only brings negativity into
our life but what they don’t know is that, it has also its
positive effects such as it boosts our sense of excitement,
enhance our coping abilities and improve our performance.
What are the things that you can do, so that you can
recover from stress?
-The things that I do to cope up with stress is through
surrounding myself with the people that gives positive
energy and also through meditation. meditating has been
my way on thinking about life and how I can overcome it.

In this module, I learned that stress doesn’t only bring us
negative effects but is also brings positive effects into our life. I
am one of those people who believed that stress focuses on
negative side only but through this module, I can able to open
my mind and be educated more what is stress is all about.

I do believe that it is really important to take care of our
mental health because by doing so, we would be able to have
peace, serenity and happiness into our life. We should always
take care of our mental health on like how we take care of our
physical health because no matter how healthy your body is, if
your mental health is not stable, the stress that you are feeling
inside will reflect and affect us through our body. For example,
due to the stress that we are feeling, we experience stress eating
and that would result for our body to increase its weight. Bottom-
line, we should never neglect our mental health to achieve a life
where all you can see is positivity and all you can feel is complete
and authentic happiness.
