As an Information Systems Securities Examiner, you will examine financial institutions’ inter‐
nal control systems affecting the integrity, reliability, and accuracy of data, as well as the
quality of the information systems (IS) supporting management decisions.  The primary
goal of these examinations is to identify risks that threaten the safe and sound operations
of the financial institutions.

Here’s what you need to qualify:

The State of Oregon requires all executive branch employees to complete their COVID-19

Minimum Qualifications:

Two years experience examining financial institutions for financial safety,

soundness, overall performance, and compliance with laws and regulations
AND a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Auditing, Business Administration,
banking, pre-Law, or a related field.

NOTE: Three more years of experience examining financial institutions may substitute for
the degree.

The training and/or experience must show:

Knowledge of the scope and purpose of state regulation of financial

institutions
Knowledge of laws or regulations governing financial institutions or bank hold‐
ing companies
Knowledge of the unique policy, procedures, and regulations governing national
banks

analysis methodology
Assess the quality of physical and logical security, including the privacy of data
Assess the adequacy of network architectures and the security of connections
with public networks
Analyze the level and quality of oversight and support of systems development
and acquisition activities, including project and change management
Analyze the adequacy of resilience, continuity, and response capabilities to
safeguard personnel, customers, and products and services
Assess the adequacy of contracts and management's ability to monitor rela‐
tionships with third-party servicers
