One should walk in exactly straight line
If a person started walking with the toe at the starting point then he should end with the toe,
and if he/she started walking with a heal first then he should end with a heal.
One should not walk in artificial manner. Walking should be in a natural way.
Exact point for placing the poles should be found.
When we started walking from one point to another in the ground, at some points it was very difficult
due to the wet mud and grass because of rain. Also at some points we have to walk in two parts as
there was a wall between the points. Some points were very close and the other were far away and
walking between them again and again was tiring. One of the points to fix pole that was in the
ground was real hard to find but we found it in the end. The sockets of the poles were filled with mud
and we had to clean it before plugging it in the point.
Q- What is pace-length?

toe to toe.
Answer- Ranging is the process of straightening the line with the help of poles or ranging rods.
Q- What do you mean by datum line?
