1. Definition :
. Teks lisan dan tulis berbentuk undangan resmi seperti undangan: Pembukaan sekolah (an invitation
to the opening of a school), undangan wisuda (an invitation to the graduation ceremony), undangan
pernikahan (an invitation to the wedding)

3. Fungsi sosial:
- Untuk mengundang secara formal
- Untuk menerima undangan dengan baik dan benar
- Untuk menolak undangan dengan baik dan benar

2. Stuktur Tulis
1. The name of the person who does the invitation : The first line is the name(s) of the
person(s) who invite(s), The second line is the request for participation.
2. The occasion of the invitation. : The third line is the name of the person(s) invited and the
fourth line is the occation for invitation
3. The date and time of the invitation : The fifth line is the the time and the date of the occation
4. The place of the invitation : The sixth line is the place of the occationThe last line is the request
for reply
