Primary social interaction pattern(s)- Explanation of the reason for the chosen pattern or patterns.
(Submit completed activity analysis or TAAAM form as addendum)

This activity can be considered extra-individual or aggregate. Mandala coloring only requires
oneself and the materials they need, putting an action onto an object. While this is the primary
pattern of socialization, participants can also do this in an aggregate form in which they complete
the mandala coloring side by side and can chat or bond but their activities are individual.

Adaptation: One researched adaptation specific to a disability group assigned for each of the four
(4) uploaded activities. This is not for the purpose of leading activities; this is only for the
purpose of submitting activities.

This activity can be adapted for an individual with a C6 incomplete spinal cord injury by using
alternative speech recognition and mouse options on a computer. Speech recognition programs
can help individuals to use their voice to tell the computer what to do and could be used to allow
them to do mandala coloring online. C6 spinal cord injuries tend to have limited use and control
of the arms and hands, making coloring difficult. This can also be adapted by using mouse
options such as larger mouse pads that have extended capabilities allowing the participant to use
a mousepad to have a wider variety of control over the computer and its functions. With a
combination of speech recognition and mouse pads the participant should be able to guide the
computer to control the colors selected and click on the spots in which the color should go.
