Whole Life Insurance is a type of permanent Variable Life Insurance is a variation of

life insurance which provides a level death permanent life insurance that offers cash
benefit upon the insured’s death, or a cash values that fluctuate based on the
endowment upon policy maturity that is equal performance of the underlying mutual funds
to the death benefit. Whole life insurance in the investment account
policies also accumulate cash values.
Two types of whole life insurance policies are:

2. Limited Pay Life

clients. You must pass the OL Exam to
obtain your license.
If you wish to expand your portfolio to

include variable life insurance, you must
have the Variable Life Insurance
License. To obtain you license, you
must pass the VUL Exam.

A The exam registration form links can be found here. Alternatively, these are provided to your agency leaders as well.
Q Is there anything that I can do to know the schedule of my exam?
You can directly ask your leader to know your exact exam schedule. Alternatively, you can reach out to us at PhilamlifeExams@aia.com. You will receive an email
A from PhilamlifeExams@aia.com containing all the details of your exam, available exam schedules, and other updates.
Q I will no longer take the exam. How can I file for a refund?
Please reach out to our Licensing Team to know if your refund request is valid. Submit a letter of request, together with your licensure exam
A payment slip, and a valid government ID to PhilamlifeExams@aia.com. Our Licensing Team will provide you with updates within 48 hours.
(Please note that refund request is subject for approval and could take 30 days.)

Q Is it possible to switch from an online to an onsite/offsite exam and vice versa? If so, how?
Transferring from one exam set up to another may be allowed if any of the following conditions are met: (1) Your preferred exam date has not been confirmed yet, (2)
Your payment has not been submitted yet to Finance for processing, (3) Your payment has not been remitted to IC and IIAP, or (4) You have paid additional payments
A to cover the excess fees of the transfer, if any.

Q Is it possible to change my exam schedule even though my initial exam date has been confirmed?
Once your exam schedule has been confirmed, you will no longer be able to reschedule your exam date. However, if IC or IIAP decides to cancel the exam, you will

Q Can I take my exam after working hours?
A You can take your exam within 7 days and at any hour of the day.
Q What if I fail to take my exam within the 7-day period?
A If you cannot take the exam due to unforeseen circumstances, such as illness or acts of God, please inform our Licensing Team within 4 days of your
exam schedule.
Q How will I know my batch assignment? Can I choose my batch assignment?
A You will receive your batch assignment from the licensing team once your submission has been successfully verified. Unfortunately, you cannot choose your own
batch assignment.
Q When can I get my exam registration link?
A Your exam link will be sent to you through your registered email address 15 to 20 days after our Licensing Team confirms your Batch assignment.

Q Can I retake my exam without additional fees?
A Unfortunately, retaking the exam would result to a fee.
Q My previous exam schedule was cancelled. What should I do?
A The licensing team will send out an email with options on how you can register for the exam again.
Q I have encountered a connectivity issue during my exam, can I have it rescheduled?
A Please coordinate this immediately to the Licensing Team at PhilamLifeExams@aia.com, so they can raise this to IC. Rescheduling of the examination with or without
extra fees is subject to the approval of IC and usually takes at least 30 days.
Q The proctor asked me to leave the exam room and coordinate with the Licensing Team on my rescheduling
A If the proctor asks you to leave the exam room, please coordinate this immediately with the Licensing Team at PhilamlifeExams@aia.com and provide the instruction
given by the proctor. The Licensing Team will raise this to IC subject for their approval of rescheduling with or without additional exam fees. This usually takes at least
30 days.

Q Can I choose my exam date?
With the current state of the IC ACE booking system, examinees cannot choose an exam date. This is because there are limited number of slots available when IC

IC will send you an email containing the exam registration link. Please ensure to read through the email as guidelines set by IC are stipulated on the email. Please

Wait for IC’s email confirmation. If registration was successful, IC will send you a join meeting link where you can access the exam room.

Q How can I get the password for the exam?
After successful registration, you’ll be given an opportunity to enter a virtual exam room via a meeting link. Kindly wait for the proctor to let you in. The proctor will
