MEDAPOXY SOL FM-AP

Thin coat epoxy floor system

DESCRIPTION TECHNICAL DATA

The MEDAPOXY SOL FM/AP is an epoxy resin for
interior concrete floors, mortar floors, tile floors... It
has a good resistance to wear by friction, to impacts
and to several chemicals.
The MEDAPOXY SOL FM/AP is dlivereed in the
form of a 2 components package:
- component A: Resin
- component B: Hardener
USE
MEDAPOXY SOL FM/AP is designed for a thin-coat
dustproof application (0.2 mm to 1 mm) to floors
subjected to low mechanical stresses and moderate
chemical aggressions. It provides chemical and
abrasion resistance along with improved cleanability.
It is recommended for interior concrete floors
subjected to low to medium traffic and chemical
splashes or spills.
It is thus appropriate for industrial floors, hangars
and carparks, surfaces of sale, exhibition halls,
kitchens, public buildings...

RESTRICTIONS:
MEDAPOXY SOL FM/AP is not designed for an
application where moisture can reach the underside
of the coating.
Take advice from us for application in exterior or in
places exposed to the sun.
Do not apply to floors previously treated with other
coatings unless these coatings have been
completely removed by chemical or mechanical
means.

INSTRUCTIONS
Qualities of the coating depend on the care taken
for the surface preparation and the product
application, and on respect of the instructions.
CONDITIONS OF USE
- The substrate must be imperatively dry
Concrete or mortar floors must be at least 28
days old and fully cured.
- Do not apply when temperature is below 10°C or
above 35°C.
- Relative humidity of air must be below 80%.
Make sure there is an adequate ventilation in the
places of application.
SURFACE PREPARATION
Holes, crevices and spalled or disintegrated portions
must be suitably repaired.
Consult GRANITEX Technical Services for the
appropriate concrete repair products.
Floors must be structurally sound, fully cured and
dry. All oil, grease, dirt, paint drippings and any
other stains must be eliminated.
In order to guarantee the esthetics and the quality of
the coating, the substrate must have a regular
surface.
If the substrate is very smooth it is necessary to carry
out a chemical or mechanical shelling of the surface.
In the doubtful cases a preliminary test of adherence
is recommended.
