Description
The Cecilia Tee is a casual knit tee with a gathered banded short
sleeve.

Sizing
The pattern includes sizes 12 months to 8 years. Choose your child’s
size based on the measurements in the chart below.

Recommended Fabrics
Main: A knit with at least 30% stretch
Accent: A knit with at least 30% stretch
Cuff and Neckband: A rib knit. If you do not use a rib make sure
your knit has excellent recovery for best results.

Notions
Required: Matching thread and your standard sewing materials. A
serger is not required to sew this pattern.

Tips for Knits

If you are sewing with a regular sewing machine choose a zig-zag or
lightening stitch. This allows your stitching to stretch with your
fabric. Use a ballpoint needle in your machine.

ALWAYS prewash your knits. Maybe twice. Knit will shrink you want
this to happen BEFORE you sew a garment.

For best result use knits of similar weights and stretch in the body
and sleeves.

How Do I Print This?
We HIGHLY recommend printing your pattern in Adobe Reader. (It’s free!)
You need to print your pattern Actual Size or 100%. Do NOT scale your
pattern. There is a 2” (4cm) square on page 8. Print this page and
measure before printing your entire pattern.

How Can I save myself some ink?

We’re glad you asked. This pattern comes with layers. That means you can
choose which size to print. From the left sidebar in Adobe click on the
stack of papers. You will see a list of sizes pop up. Click on the eyeball
next to a size to remove it. You will print only the sizes with the eyeball
displayed. Make sure you keep the notations and the tiling on!

Bonus tip!
Most printers will have a Draft option.
Mine is located under the “advanced
options” tab. This will print your
pattern using less ink.

Making Your Stack of Papers a Pattern What Pages Do I need?
You’ve printed your pattern pieces and double checked the measurement on
your 2”(4 cm) square. Remember even an 1/8” off on your scaling box can
compile into inches of scaling issues in your pieces. Pages 11-19

Match your pages at the black border, you will need to trim margins. Use the
triangles as guides. The triangles will form diamonds. When your pattern is fully
assembled it will look like this-
